I was interested too, so I checked back...
It was Jinfen-3 that was mentioned "last week" not gud_chh5, and the "bad feeling" came after others had started having problems with them. And then there was the vilifying of qintianyu-ming who hadn't done anything wrong apart from have bad reviews of other sellers forced onto their listing by ebay! And I've just checked them again, they still have 100% positive feedback.

All I'm really saying is people need to remain calm and rational, we need proper information about sellers so we don't get scammed yet can still buy stuff at reasonable prices... this isn't a witch hunt thread! :p

Aww crap. Just ordered THF04 Ko Magnus after a few good transactions.
Package has shown as leaving Shanghai processing unit via Speedpak. I'm guessing its a crappy set of beads or something.

My bad feelings come from checking other Chinese ebayer's price.

To be fair, he did bring up concerns about qud_chh5 last week, however, very little weight was given to it at the time because the basis for concern was made almost entirely on the fact his prices were allegedly cheaper than Baba's, which was shown to be mostly untrue, partly due to the fact he listed most items twice, in USD, and in GBP currency with the ones in USD being the same, or higher than Baba's. The fact many people at the time were still getting their items certainly hurt the argument as well. Now it's a bit up in the air. On one hand, people seem to be getting refunds for incorrect merchandise, and responses to negative feedback, so it very well could be a case a bad distributor hurting the seller, but, on the other, it seems unlikely anybody will gamble on that any time soon.

I've just been scammed by gud_chh5 as well. Received a plastic kids watch after ordering gigapower sludge :(

Sorry about the bad luck. I'm assuming you've already contacted them and with any luck, it's hopefully just a distributor error and they'll at least be able to issue a quick refund, but if not, hopefully Paypal can keep it simple with filing a claim.

I forgot to follow up on this, just in case anyone's interested :p

It's listed by ahbj1981-9. I checked on them and found they're currently on the good sellers list, there are testimonials on here in their favour, and they have 100% positive feedback, which made it even odder. Also all their other items are priced fairly but not cheaply, and they're selling the same item on ebay US for the 'proper' price o_O
With that info, rather than write them off as a bad seller immediately, I decided to message them about the price... they haven't replied, BUT the price has gone from £17 to £71! After my research on them I had a feeling they'd made a typo and I think that could just prove it

Though I do wish I'd bought one for £17 BEFORE messaging them ;)

(If they go rogue now then I'm deleting all trace of this :p )

That's an intriguing possibility... what if the long term trusted sellers aren't going rogue? What if they're 'dropshipping' and it's the actual supplier that starts sending out tat, then the seller panics after receiving hundreds of negative feedback comments and claims against them and shuts up shop? That may explain why they respond to the first few messages regarding non delivery saying they'll check on it, then they just can't handle the influx of claims heading their way and their supplier has scarpered with the cash...

Just a thought, could be nonsense :p

I was going to get Sovereign from him too, but I started seeing complaints in this thread about him. I went with cheertoys instead,so time will tell. Good luck.

Well, I bought a FT Quietus from gud_chh5 on that last flash sale the day before the negative feedback started rolling in. I bought something from this seller earlier in 2018 and was fine, so I figured I was safe... Quietus has been sent Speedpak so I am thinking my Xmas present to myself is gonna turn out to be some crappy watch. If it gets 'lost' in the mail, I don't think I will have leverage to file for a refund for at least a week. If it actually does show up but as something else (like a watch), I worry it could become a bigger fight to get a refund since tracking will show it arrived. Anyone have experience with Paypal or eBay in this type of situation?

I had an empty packet turn up. I took pictures before and after opening it and included them with my claim for a refund, and it worked!

Also, something I haven't seen before is this: when I click on my Quietus purchase in eBay it reads at the top "The listing below has been updated by the seller, but you can see the item you purchased.". and when I click on that it takes me to a page with the pictures missing... interesting.

That's normal, all my purchase from businesses do that.

(I spend far too much time on ebay  )

I sent a message to gud_chh5 asking, considering his feedback since my purchase, if I should also expect my purchase to be a scam. We'll see if there is even a response... maybe if I can get a pre-emptive refund I can salvage this thing and buy a Quietus quickly elsewhere!

Yeah, this is the third time in the last two years I have purchased something from someone literally the day before they go rogue. All three sellers had a great track record for quite some time before. It seems if ypu are gonna buy direct from China, ONLY use baba, netclow, or johnsontony. Baba's customer service and reliability is second to none. The Inferno issue seems odd for him...

gud_chh5 just responded that he could switch the item to china post. I told him that I rather just get my money refunded. The negative feedbacks are rolling in with tales of receiving cheap watches.

I assume the cancer-remark was just exaggeration? I had a bit of fun looking that up:
It was 'looked at' by a panel of 10 scientists in 2014 and they clearly stated it 'could be' a problem and needed to be properly investigated as their research results could still be the result of bias or chance. They admitted they were not sure on the outcome, yet every tin-foiler 'health' website immediate splattered it across its front page as the holy gospel. And that was about styrofoam cups and food packaging which when heated (like when hot coffee is poured into it) could possible mix with the food or beverage. In the following research it was proven to mix, but at levels nowhere near unsafe to humans. If you have it in your home as packaging you're quite safe. Just don't let your kids or pets put it in their mouths, obviously :)
