Amell did post photos aluding to a future project with welling and rosenbaum. I just hope it's for the arrowverse. The fact that the right people gave them permission for Save Me and that they got the Kent Farm bodes EXTREMELY well I think.

I'm pretty sure Amell stated it was for a wine company, but who knows, they may have tossed some ideas around while they were at it - because c'mon what a coincidence that the partners he picked played Clark and Lex for years on a DC show. They would definitely make that Crisis event they keep hinting at in Flash a much bigger event. I'd love to see if they can get some of the other Smallville teams as well like the JSA, and heck the Legion!
I guess the problem is we have seen Superman in the Arrowverse and we know Lex is coming and isn't Rosenbaum. With all the multiple versions of people from different Earths, they are still played by the same actor. The one exception was the 90's Flash cameo was Shipp but that was a 2 second shot. So even if Smallville actors appear, I don't think they would be the same characters they played.
I hadn't been paying too much attention and didn't realize it was going to be Flash tonight. So super bonus for me. I quite enjoyed the episode and hope it plays out well. Though I have the feeling that not having watched Supergirl or Arrow may dilute the enjoyment.
He'll be back again later in the crossover. ....and Barry needs to steal his costume, because it still looks better.

Shipp playing the 90s version of the flash gives room for characters from different eras to be played by different actors though. most of the alternate realities we have visited are all the same time period, but what happens if an 80s flash pops up? it cant very well be grant gustin becuase his version of barry wouldnt be alive yet
I enjoyed the episode, several moments between Barry and Oliver that made me chuckle. I hated Smallville more than I ever enjoyed any of it or any episodes outside of the guest spots from other heroes, so I did not fangirl out hearing the themesong. I figured the robot would be Amazo. Which you could have called Gold Tornado as he seemed to pretty well be a recolored Red Tornado CG model. But, unless I am misremembering I could have sworn I read where producers said it was easier to use the templates they have built previously and tweak them each year, which is why Grodd's look has gotten better each season as well as King Shark. They reused the building under construction from last year's crossover as well I figure as they can more easily manipulate that. I could totally be wrong. But I am enjoying the crossover so far, always will enjoy this version of Superman and look forward to Batwoman's appearance.
yeah I didn't follow as much either so I was surprised my DVR was recording Flash. Pretty solid ep. Happy with the Smallville theme. Though Barry waiting and waiting to say "Amazo....you have failed this city!" was terrible.
So quick question, I’m a bit out of the loop due to family issues, BatWoman is from the same earth as Arrow/Flash or is she from Supergirl/Superman’s earth or an other all together?
Ollie did mention Bruce Wayne before so Gotham and Wayne have always existed just they had no reason to talk about them. I'm glad it is on Earth 1. There were rumors Batwoman was going to be on yet another Earth.
I don’t want this to be an argument but just because there is a Wayne Enterprises does not mean there is a Batman..... .....And likewise just because there is a Bruce Wayne and a Gotham city does not mean there is a Batman And of course there’s always a reason to bring them up fanboys go crazy I think it would’ve been better off for it to have been on Supergirls earth But that’s just my opinion
Shipp’s role as Barry Allen/90s Flash (and he’ll be much more than a cameo) kind of opens the door for Smallville and potentially other DC shows to appear as alternate Earths in the Arrow-verse.
