Siiiiiiigh, guess I got part of the defective batch of set b. :/

Mixmasters upper missile cannon thing wasn't molded completely, so there is a huge air bubble in one of the missile tips.

One of Scrappers tires is to large for the hub... like how does that happen?

 

Just received word from my aliExpress seller. They are expecting to receive their stock next week.

JLKIDS? He wanted me to reply to lock in my order because from the message, he's expecting a limited supply. I did so, and also asked him about the light up gimmick. Asked how the LED micro board and battery was going to fare against customs, and rather or not the battery will have to be removed or if they will have to exclude the whole micro board entirely.

 

JLKIDS on Aliexpress. I sent them the pictures and explained the issues the best I could this afternoon. I'm hoping they get back to me later tonight during business hours.

Since you all have experience with the seller, whats the chances they will be able to get me replacement parts?  

 

I would say the chance is likely higher with these sets than say the KBB Skywarp that I ordered and received from them back in March that had a cracked crotch/hip assembly and a missing hip ratchet. They eventually sent me replacement parts, but it was a bit of a struggle. Thankfully my JinBao sets have not had any issues. At least, none that I have noticed.

 

I recently got JB OSKO predaking W upgrade from him and everything was good. A little of the wing was slightly bent but overall pretty good. I'm afraid of getting the set B from him if that's the case... I also reserved a set for myself ..

 

With the exception of some loose ankle ball joints on Scraper my Set B is fine. Though as with all things of this nature, your millage may very.

 

Really with these things it is a luck of the draw. It's entirely possible my issues could have been overlooked during packing. Ill report back and see how much of a hassle getting replacement parts are. Just going off the listing, it looks like the seller might be pretty good.

That being said, compared to other sellers on aliexpress I was really happy with how my stuff was packed. The figures were individually wrapped with lots of padding and placed in a fairly thick styrofoam cooler-like box with a final outer wrapping. Compared to my NBK Devy from another seller, which was just loosely tossed into a plastic sack with bubblewrap, it was quite the surprise. lol

If your super concerned about defective parts I would just pay a little extra and get them from Show Z or TFDirect, because IIRC they both have a policy of just parting out another figure and getting you the parts ASAP and then dealing with the manufacturer on their own. I know when my IT megatron started having random parts super discolor I really wished I had got it off one of them, cause the seller on ebay never really got back to me.  

 

Been waiting since August for a fixed part from showz. Told me they sent it. I write them again in November and they said it was delivered and gave me a tracking number. They sent it to an address in Spain. I live in Sweden. I pointed that out and they said they fixed it and sent it. That was a month ago. Still nothing. First time with them I am having issues but my confidence is waverng.

I have spoken to 2/3 taobao sellers who advise set c is in stock now. Apparently my order will be shipped out today - I bought set A and B from this seller so there is no reason to doubt his word.
