Driving all the way to Halifax and staying in a hotel to see the early screening. I AM SO EXCITED!

To the people watching the early screening tonight, be sure to come on time. It's likely there will be little to no previews playing before the film. I've been reading the Spiderverse early screening yesterday had only one preview and a few people missed out on the beginning of the film thinking there will be 20 minutes of trailers.

 

Oh Thank God! Do you think they'll show Avengers Endgame as said one preview? or None at all. Just curious is all

No idea on the contents of preview or if there will be a preview in the first place. I was just basing off of what the Spiderverse screening had done.

For Spiderverse specifically, it was a preview for A Dog Way's Home which is a Sony film so similarly, we may see a Paramount preview if anything.

 

Cant wait, 7 hours away from seeing it in Laval!

 

All the theater near me are sold out.. can’t wait for tonight! Less than 6 hours to go!

I haven't been this excited for a Transformers movie since.... well the re-release of the Animated Movie!  
Before that... I've never been this excited!

I went to all the previous live action movies during their respective opening weeks. The 2007 film I attended with a sense of nervous dread, and found it to be every bit as lacking as I'd feared. Every subsequent iteration I attended with a fair dash of anticipated disappointment. They never did live up to my (personal) expectations for the potential for this franchise, and more often then not they turned me off with their crude humor and insensitive attitudes.

This movie, while clearly sharing that aesthetic, has me feeling hopeful that it will open a new (kinder, more optimistic) chapter in the storytelling for this universe. For the first time, I am attending with a feeling of eagerness and I'm allowing my expectations to be quite lofty. C'mon Travis Knight & crew, don't let me down!

 

Thanks for the tip, I usually try to get there "with just a few trailers to go"---I'll leave earlier than usual tonight.

I got a free Tiny Turbo changer (Scorn). He’s pretty awesome for a little guy.

 

Sitting in my theater now. Employees stationed at the door asked me if I had a wristband. How did people get wristbands?

 

Was on my way to see it, and ended up in a huge accident. Probably totaled our car. I’m fine, but I’m shaken up and feel terrible. It’s my first accident.
Movie is out of the question tonight, of course. I hope everyone has fun though!
