I'm just curious what the new backpack is like on the new Studio Series Optimus Prime.

Jetfires face looks To BIG!

Is Jetfire's head really too big? Is it though?

 

People said the same thing about Brawl's head, but no, it turned out to be spot on. We're just not used to seeing the designs accurately rendered in plastic I guess.

Megatron has been a huge maybe since I already have the ROTF Voyager which is gorgeous on its own, but damn he looks good here. I am very quickly losing the battle here against not grabbing him.

The only one who’s a likely no from these four is the new Optimus, even if he does combine with Jetfire. And speaking of Jetfire, I hope his transformation is easier and less fiddly than 2009 - and judging by the excellent engineering of Grimlock and Blackout, I think I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

 

You're entitled to your opinion, but I held that same opinion about the DOTM and AOE figure lines, and I find the Studio Series figures on the whole to be thoughtfully designed, solidly constructed, nicely painted, and sufficiently screen-accurate.

I'd love an OSKO of that Jetfire that combines with LT2...

 

Hmmm, now to decide which is the better Megatron. I'm not a huge fan of the DOTM character as he was reduced to a shamed little sub to Sentinel, he was so shamed that he hid his face and took on an Earth based alt mode, definitely the weakest version of Megatron, good news is however that we SHOULD get movie 1 Megatron next, that version imo is far more desirable than a Galvatron.

 

Prime could\'ve used Jetfire\'s face as a shield.

 

Jetfire is kind of decent honestly, the rest looks fine.

I just want the jetpower op and devastator from this line, maybe some dinobots, but that's it for me.

 

I hope Prime and Jetfire come out soon!
