That was a pretty nice set. Best parts would have to be the cab window which is pretty helpful and the chest wing detail additions are nice and varied.

 

Those Reprolabels are really nice, but I wish there was an option to have the hot neon pink on the windshield too, so as to match the G1 model a little more. One of Thunderclash's big draws for me are the bright colours, and while MMC have done a great job, he's a little subdued.

 

I’d say MMC tried to make him less thunderclash and more thundermatch. The faded red is the main clue to that. I feel that additional pink stickering would’ve been great to have.

 

Very, very nice, I really like this mold, and they all look different enough to warrant a purchase, a lot shelf presence too. Can't wait for Roller!

 

So I was coming to this thread to complain about how the lack of a discernible windshield had totally put me off of this figure, but it appears that Toyhax may have solved my problem for me:

This still may not be exactly what I had in mind, but it's a heckuva lot closer! Collisus is back on the acquisition list!

Yes, that might be exactly what it needs! (It would be IDEAL if I could get the piece molded in pink clear plastic and then have the not-windshield parts painted, but I can't think of any carrots that would get a factory to do that.)

...and yes, I do realize the Toyhax stickers more closely match what seems to be the sole colored vehicle mode art than hot pink would.


(though now that I look at it more maybe this is a welcome-to-last-week situation in part, because this art looks a bit more like Thunder Prominon, huh?)

Is there such a thing as a Thunderclash collection? I impulse bought him off of BBTS this morning after seeing Fan Hobby’s version of him. And I’ll buy that one too. The brightly colored bots have caught my attention lately, much to my wallets disgust  

 

Also to the disgust of anyone who sees it and understands anything about basic colour balance.

That would be a collection of...four figures, I think: G1, botcon/fanclub, MMC and Fanshobby. (Maybe a Kre-O?) But it would be a nice, managable collection  

 

I don't suppose anyone who bought the PSX early version doesn't want the yellow rifle that came with him? If so, I would like to buy it

I love my yellow rifle. I just wish there was a storage place for it in vehicle mode.
