Not seen this anywhere else as yet. Found it on an obscure Facebook group (Trans fans?). Sorry for poor credit.

Looks pretty amazing though for a foldable kit. Perhaps some of our resident Chinese speakers can translate the info?

    Cheers all,

    Zenith.

do a search for “mu 3d metal puzzle transformers” - used to be sold at amazon but not anymore, so you’ll have to look for other etailers

Hmmmm. It'd be lovely to have a new high-end representation of Soundwave taking some of the better elements from the masterpiece but that doesn't have MP13's crappy foot design ...

I bought this back in 2013. They called it Masterpiece Soundwave back then though and it moves and transforms.

Love the look of these, but I dread about building them. The final look will not be as pretty as these professional builds as I\'ve built a dozen landmark-type models (Whitehouse, Capitol Hill, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Windmill, etc.) that are simpler to build (2-4 4\"x4\" metal sheets) and none of them are exactly \"fun\" to build.

Lots of problems with these metal models.  Tabs can break when you bend them too far or have to unbend-bend them again if you slotted the tabs wrong.  The flat surface come out crooked/uneven when bending the tabs... the process is not fun at all.  The final build can be wobbly depending how the designer made the tabs interlock the pieces together.

I\'ve built lots of car, military & Sci-Fi model kits for decades, these metal models are the least enjoyable/satisfying to build.   I soldiered on building those landmark models because my wife & I went to these places and she likes them on the shelf as reminders.  But expensive, non-movable Transformers metal models?  As awesome as they look, it\'s still \"thanks but no thanks\" for me.

Would LOVE to see some reviews to change my mind though!

I just got the first 4 of these but haven't started building them yet. I've built a couple of the smaller Metal Earth Transformers. I have to disagree that their not fun. Of course there's parts that can be frustrating but I enjoyed it.

Check out the metalearth subreddit for a bunch of reviews and photos of the earlier MU TF's. They all came out amazing. I can't wait for soundwave!

Olevelo and Cloudballoon. They aren\'t as hard as you think after you do a few. My suggestion go, buy some Metal Earth models that you really don\'t care about and build them, so you get used to the building style. Iron Man was my hardest build by far. Soundwave will be a walk in the park after a few.

First 4? I was only aware of Optimus and Megatron. Are there others?

I haven't gotten any of these yet as I feel like they'd be too much work to build and I'm lazy, but soundwave is one of my favorite characters so it's a little more tempting now.

The prime one they had was something like $60 or $70 - way too much to pay for some painted metal sheets.
