Good movie. My son and I enjoyed it.
My only complaint is that the virus was left unchecked to look for more insecurities.

It happens. I don't enjoy CItizen Kane at all, for example, although I can still recognize why it's considered great.

Wreck it Ralph 2: 8/10 one of the better movies i've seen this year and love the first movie! what a fun movie this was.

The Shape of Water on UltraHD 4K blu-ray: 10/10 my favorite movie of last year! saw it 2 times in theaters and looks great on HD on ultraHD BD 4K. A nice mix of Wolf Children, Beauty and the Beast, Brazil (the Terry Gilliam film) and Creature from the Black Lagoon with good storytelling, amazing designs, a nice unconventional love story and more yet i would prefer if the genders were revered.

Oliver and Company on blu-ray 8/10: anyone here remembers this movie?
One of my favorite Disney animated movies and hard to believe it's been 30 years! 30 years ago i saw this at the movies when i was 6 years old, first time before thanksgiving, second time a week before Christmas and last time after New Year's day and dug it. I had some merchandise like 2 t-shirts, a stuffed Oliver, CD soundtrack from Santa for Christmas (my first CD), readalong with cassette, junior novel, coloring books, Mcdonald toys and all that. I was sadden as a kid it never came to video as i recalled in Omaha living there asking when it will it come to video and took a longass time. I saw the re-issue when i was 13 turning 14 with my junior high friends who remember it when they were younger and we enjoyed it and i even got the movie on VHS for christmas 22 years ago and then in 2002 replaced the tape with the DVD and in 2013 replaced the DVD with blu-ray and i watch it every thanksgiving time as an odd tradition. 1988 was a fantastic year for movies and even for animation as you had Akira, Totoro, Roger Rabbit, Land Before Time, Gandahar, this, Meet the Raisins, Quackbusters and some others. And this was also the much better dogs and cats animated movie of that year than Pound Puppies the movie. Such fun this movie is.

The Rocky series is a pretty consistently good set of films isn't it.

Yeah I don’t really think about it much, but you could definitely make an argument that it’s one of the strongest film franchises out there in terms of quality. Out of eight movies, there’s only one true dud.

    Christopher Robin
I feel like a heartless monster saying this but that's offset by how the movie tries to defend itself against this criticism: it's such a cliche, cookie cutter movie. The entire movie is summed up by an early speech in the film by Christopher Robin's wife about how family matters more than work and yadda yadda. Christopher Robin is a movie that tries to get cheap feels by preying on nostalgia, makes Pooh look at the camera and ask "did you leave me behind along witH YOUR CHILDHOOD", and has a sappy ending. Really by the numbers.

The character antics are super fun, as good as they ever were, but I wish they had just made another classically animated film in that case instead of this.

    Goodbye Christopher Robin
Didn't really get much out of this war drama tbqh

    Ernest Saves Christmas: 8/10

Okay, I know some people really don't like the Ernest movies (there are a couple I've seen that I didn't care for), but this is honestly among my favorite Christmas movies (maybe even in the top two or three). The key word is fun. This movie just seems like everyone involved was having a good time making it. The storyline is straightforward but enjoyable, and all of the characters are very likable. This Santa is one of the greatest Santas ever. Plus, I just love all the simple yet effective '80s-era effects. This is one Christmas movie that I can watch every year without it getting a bit stale.

Edit: (note that my score is purely for my enjoyment of the film. I don't really like ranking movies objectively.)
