Seriously mods have asked repeatedly to cool off.

    It's a toy.

We need to keep shit PG. I seriously don't want to see this thread get shut down because people can't control their immature impulses.

Go take a cold shower or something.

i feel you. it could definitely go either way.
if they were indeed articulated, you think it would have to be a larger figure then?

I have a sneaky suspicion it'll probably be about the size of Rouge. especially since people are going the MP scale route these days.

Real talk though, some concerns of mine:
Articulation in the hips looks like it could be limited due to the amount of armor bits around there.
Also, tiny feet are always a concern. I hope she's not too top heavy and balances well. Maybe it'd be best if this figure were smaller. Smaller = lighter.
Which would also align with my personal preferences. I prefer smaller figures in general. Maybe between Deluxe and Voyager.

Eh. I'm down for this. Honestly never cared for G1 Arcee that much (i did buy the Gens version but turned into a terrible custom) but kinda like this design more. If nothing else that car mode is much better than her original pink slab form. Also, yes, blue colors please if possible

That is a good point. Maybe they plan to do what MMC did for their first Azelea and have a food piece for better balance.

I am worried that this isn't actually a planned product. On their weibo page, they announced their first two products - but this is not one of those. I captured some screenshots and uploaded here, the source link is this: Sina Visitor System

Production no.1 is a little girl transforming to a bike.
    Production no.2 is a T-Rex.

What are you talking about? There's been one post from a mod who said, "Hey guys, nothing's really wrong here yet but this subject can get dicey. Just wanted to say to be careful." (which, btw, was a damn civilized post and an excellent way of expressing their concern). Other than that, we've had a few snarky posts get deleted in accordance with the policy against criticizing/complaining about moderation. Where is the "asked repeatedly to cool off?" If there's a problem in any post, there's a nice "report" button but it just kind of feels like you're trying to stir up trouble here. And this is coming from someone who's on the "this figure is too risque" camp - this thread has been remarkably civilized.

Perhaps. The smallest fully articulated hands I'm aware of are the 1/144 Gundam hands from Hobby Base which would be about the right size for Rouge (I used them on my unfinished Wei Jiang Alcee custom and they fit great) and those things are so freakin' delicate. As much of a proponent of hands as I am, I wouldn't recommend using them in a wide release figure. The smallest hands that I wouldn't worry about breaking are the KFC replacement hands for MP carbots which are already kind of big on those bots and would be huge on Arcee unless she was nearly MP-10 sized.

Would I love to see an MP-10 sized version of this figure with fully articulated hands? Absolutely! I just don't think that's likely. I think, given that this is a new company and this figure will be a bit of a risk - doesn't fit with any existing line - that she will probably be Alcee sized at best and possibly smaller (which would be a waste of such a nice design given how many concessions would need to be made at that size). Also keep in mind that the fandom at large has spoken out against articulated hands. But this is just my uneducated opinion.

It may not be. Sometimes these companies toss out a teaser image of something they're on the fence about to determine interest. I'd say that there seems to be an interest. Another thing to consider is how 3P releases get teased overall. As a group, we've sat there and seen silhouette teasers and waited for a product that comes out two (three?) years later.

My Theory is that this Arcee is being Designed by the same person who made the model from Transformers Online and the one below:

The Arcee def shares elements that are inspired from the one from the Japanese Game.

Honestly, I think the slit adds to the design and overall feel of the figure. Why only go halfway? Also, I doubt the people actually planning on purchasing this would have much problem with a port hole near the end of that panel line. Me included.

The designer stated that they wanted to make an overtly sexy Arcee. I feel the softer “more human” look was added to accomplish that, I feel that it works very well too.

Thank you. There are many others but some things never change and people have to complain even though they have other options.

I would be down with a Voyager size, the hands would still be accomplishable if they had a set of interchangeable ones, which I prefer anyway as they add more character to a bot than static hands.
