Why go through all that effort to make it more accurate, only to then remove something to make it less accurate..

 

while the mass seems voyager, im sad that bonecrusher is  so short...

 

The wheels still fold up, it's just that the wheel wells don't collapse any more. This one on display is mistransformed. But yeah, still a step backwards despite all the other steps forward.

 

Looking at DOTM megs’ two modes, it looks like hastak have further refined their mass shifting technique.

 

Still though. It would have costed them MORE to retool the mold to change it. Why not just keep them the same? I mean, unless theres a port in there that Jetfire attatches too, but I don’t see why the wheel wells would need to be static for that.

 

How the hell does HasTak make mass shifting work? It's amazing what they've been able to pull off.

 

This Megatron looks great, but I would have really loved to see what this series could do with Movie 1 Megatron.

 

Give em time. They’ve done eevyone else in that film aside from modern 09 Camaro bee.

Oof. That soft goods cloak isnt looking so hot. The cloth looks too stiff and it doesn't gang across the figure like it should.

 

My thought as well. The rest of the figure looks pretty good overall to me. Much better than the original picture made it look. But yeah, that cloak is weak. I wonder if maybe it can be fixed with some washing and breaking in.

 

Ha! An MP Rattrap reveal would make my day.

Takara is really your product? It almost looks as good as a 3P product! Good job!

 

So far I'm really not feeling this Megatron. Still very open to being impressed (as the majority of this line has done). Definitely prefer the old voyager's plastic hood (after custom paint) to the cloth. I would have thought I would have prefered cloth, but that looks ridiculous.

They may yet win me over though.

 

Wow. Just wow. Good stuff all around. The only three I don't want are Junker Bee, WWII Bee, and "Crankcase"

The rest are bought on sight.
