Don’t see any tank treads on Blitzwing.

 

Now I know why I like blitzwing so much,he looks like a gundam!

Also about tank treads, you won't find any dude. He's not a triple changer in this movie.

 

Looks more like Macross

 

He looks like airmaster gundam.

 

Actually the "depth" to his torso and general dynamic angles to his wings and kibble do recall Zeta-style Gundams more than Macross Valks which are typically more flatter and streamlined.

The eyes and mouthplate combo also make me think of a Gundam.

 

I love that Decepticon jet design, complex yet with a defined shape and lots of heavy, non-splintered alt-mode parts.

 

Looking at more scenes with Blitzwing, Definitely not a triple changer.
