Per official g1 measurements jetfire/starscream are supposed to be 5m tall whereas sunstreaker 4m

As iron factory sunstreaker is 9cm then jetfire shouls be 14cm actually so false alarm it is in scale.

Optimus is supposed to be 6m so would need to be about 15 or 16 cm to be in scale

This means the iron faxtory optimus is out of scale. However, I do think i have a good 16cm optimus i.e. pc 16 which is also really posable and in scale with the above.

That scale chart's got a Robotech Valkyrie in for Jetfire. I know that's the G1 toy, but I don't really think that's accurate to the toon that we watched and know all these guys from. Maybe it's accurate to the G1 toys, which were not in scale to each other.

This one is based on toon appearances. I've found it to be fairly accurate.

Thanks. Woah jetfire looks massive in your chart. Almost 2x Prime height. In the below i mean he looks taller than prime but the difference is only about 1 to 2 meters using the human as reference.

Jetfire below looks taller than prime by the same extent that prime is taller than iron hide.

This is an excellent point. I think he is a bit tall fir IDW, but I haven't gone back reread the old RID issues. I think he scales better with newer Iron Factory figures than their older figures.

Jesus, who cares about G1 anymore? I grew up with it and I don’t even care about it anymore. It was a poorly animated toy commercial.

So, is there a fix for the visored head? Have they made a repair part?

This head has a lot smaller cavity for the ball joint so obviously it cant fit. I suppose the only way is to make the ball a lot smaller so it would fit in this head and if I ever want to use the other head Id fill the cavity with a cotton or something.

I read through this forum. There is a lot of posts and photos about a gap between the head halves - thats this issue. The head cant close because the cavity is a lot smaller.

Edit: I was responding to a post that disappeared

Maybe that was a rhetorical question, but to answer: not you clearly. But just as clearly: many, many others (as revealed by even the most quick perusal of this board). I'm sorta in the middle myself.

That was mine, sorry - I remembered immediately after posting that I sanded the ball joint down a little and that's why they both fit.

Just took a quick pic with the retro labels applied and some panel lining. Might still add a few more paint apps to it myself at some point. Nothing like making a great toy even better!

What is that Omega Supreme figure? I wasn't aware of Iron Factory making one, but damn he looks great!

Thank you, great to hear it works. Does it go easy enough or do you have some tips how to do it well, how much sanding,...?

I beleive that’s Master Made Apollo? He’s kinda SD, but still looks cool.

There’s also MFT’s Huge Dragon, If you (as I do) prefer a more ‘G1+’ style Legends Omega
