Any plans to make the 2007/ROTF/DOTM camaro Bumblebee design in Studio Series?

 

it literally says autralia exclusive...... for kmart but now its for target also.... and how does this 2 pack help the lime at all? it doesnt, it wastes 2 spots for something way better

 

They're not wasting mould resources though. They aren't putting extra time and money into designing new toys for these. It's just a convenient way to get both right out of the gate, because Bumblebee sells.

It doesn't even take up the place in a wave either, like the Dread repaints did, or Clunker Bumblebee. This is a completely separate thing that bears no relation to the current case pack.

And if you think it takes up shelf space from other toys, well, that's a bit more complicated. Having been to Hasbro Australia's headquarters once, I asked them about the stock issues and they responded 'we try to send them out to retailers as much as we can', and having worked in retail I can confirm that it's not up to the stores when it comes to who stocks what. If there are any stock issues, this 2-pack isn't at fault; it's the higher ups at Target and Kmart who think Transformers just don't sell...probably...just going on what I heard.

 

No, it says "Kmart Australia exclusive". As opposed to "Kmart US exclusive". It does not say "Australia exclusive".

If I recall, these were found somewhere in asia a few weeks ago.

 

It was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con. Hasbro doesn't typically display toys that are intended to be "foreign country exclusives" at SDCC.

Browns Plains Kmart - had the three new exclusive items (Studio Series 2-pack, Bumblebee w/ cassettes, electronic Titan Changer Bumblebee).




Gotta love the cheap prices for these three exclusives - cheaper than in America after tax (when converting currencies), which is really really unusual for Australia, which usually has things at 150-200% above American prices (especially exclusives).

It's really starting to look like a boring wall of yellow in the Transformers sections now because of the Bumblebee movie.

Wait how much is the two pack going for? I’d like to get that bumblebee but he’s two short to warrant an individual buy.

Oh hell yeah. Thanks! That seems like a good deal. I may make the TLK one into a cliff jumper just so I don’t get dizzy. The cassettes seem a bit much though.
