Who said anything about in abundance? As i said they'll probably do diecast joints i.e hinges, ratchets etc.

 

And they'll be idiots if they do. That's alot of hinges, joints and ratchets in a 5 man team of this size. Adding unnecessary weight isn't the answer especially considering their history at this size.

All that being said both Constructor and Armageddon weigh a significant amount and there's not much diecast in there and the joints are solid as hell. It's just not needed.

 

But diecast joints would help with...nvm

 

Those latest pictures are even more impressive. I was kind of underwhelmed with the earlier releases, though I would willing to buy one just to see what it feels like.

I am wanting zeta slingshot just for fun, it has the best bot mode look and face of all 5 members, and not too bad jet mode.

 

Yes, I also found the first two Zeta Aerialbots a little underwhelming, but Silver Arrow and Catapult both seem much improved from them. I could almost imagine displaying them for their bots modes, unlike the first two, who are both passable but kind of odd looking. From what we've seen of their Skydive, he seems like he's also a cut above. I sometimes wonder if Zeta re-worked these guys a little after having learned some things from the first two.

 

@David Hingtgen have you seen this video yet? Hopefully it can answer more questions about Slingshot's jet mode!

Even tho Catapult here looks like the best of the team I am still hesitant about those damn missiles and clips,from the get-go both Airstrike and Fire Fly were just plain nightmares,both the posts that plug into the wings and the c-clips for the missiiles were too tight and popped loose,also about the posts or peg holes one or both was too short to stay plugged in securely.I hope Zeta can fix this before release.

Also by that video SOTE posted it shows Catapult to be ZB04,so I take it he will be released 4th,unless like I heard initially how the first releases were actually ZB02 then ZB01 shortly after.And who exactly is Sun of the Empire,I tried searching for them on Google and nothing showed up,are they on youtube or something,and how did they get ahold of the Zeta Aerialbots?

 

I did, and it didn't. The fact that the tailplanes were bent up sharply for the entire video, made me think that anhedral was of very little concern to the viewer. (Despite them waxing praise about the accuracy of the canopy etc)

 

Dang. Was hoping maybe it helped. At times I'm glad I'm not the aircraft afficianado that you are though, lol. I'm just happy they're making these guys even if they're not real world accurate.

 

Not quite a reviewer but they get their hands on pre samples and seems to take decent photos. So I'm thinking promo shots? Probably based in China / HK

 

I would not be surprised if they did. There were a couple of things I was not too happy about with the first two, but not enough to discount the whole set. I'm interested to see how the whole set shapes out.

 

Does anybody know of any hands that will work on these guys?
