Went to target bluffton, bought one of the several bumblebee greatest hits leader soundwaves. I'm a little unsure about it. It was on sale for $45, then I used the 25% off coupon. I also had to get some other toys for a donation type of thing which allowed to use the $10 gift card on a $50 purchase. I'm unsure about Soundwave because I think it will be super cheap clearance before it's all said and done - but I really wanted one lol.

They have quite a few transformers at that target - mostly the predictable bumblebee/energon stuff that isn't selling. POTP wise a leader optimus and leader rodimus. SS wise one jazz, a leader grimlock, and 2 each of voyager brawl and megatron.

 

Wreck-Gar spotted at Walgreens on Laurens Road in Greenville (near Haywood Road). There were a few of them but they were hidden behind a Cloudraker/Wingspan box.

I returned an unopened wreck gar to Walgreens in Bluffton - the one across the street from Kroger at the corner of Simmonsville and 278.

Walmart Bluffton and Target Bluffton both have a good amount of stuff but nothing new.

On a side note, anyone wanting potp optimal optimus, just got mine from Walmart.
Ordered Monday and got it in store today......... not as good as having sdcc version but had to settle since Hasbro screwed me and many others with the serve/site fiasco when ordering and didnt give anyone a heads up after fixing it and put the rest up.

 

The Walgreens near Houston Northcutt in Mt. Pleasant had 3 Wreck-Gars on the shelf.

 

Walmart hardeeville near bluffton actually got some transformers in(they've been pretty barren for awhile), but nothing exciting. They got in a couple of cases of the jazz/lockdown wave - and all studio series deluxes are on "rollback" to 16.82 right now. They also got a couple of cases of monsterbots. Curiously enough they have zero g1 reissue figures.

Target Bluffton got in a case of the SS ratchet/old school bumblebee wave. There were still two ratchets and two bumblebees when I left earlier today. I also had them punch in the DPCI for Siege deluxes and they don't have them. Outside of that, just a lot of the normal stuff that's shelfwarming everywhere.

 

Was in Greenville Sunday and both Wal-Mart and Target on Woodruff Road had Elita-One and Inferno, and the Walmart had one NovaStar, which finally went home with me, and after much looking and deliberation I decided to pass on Elita-One.

 

Did anyone go to Retro-Toy Con this weekend in Greenville? I went with my friend Adam, and for a smaller show (it was the Grand Ballroom at the Embassy Suites, took us about 2.5 hours) it was a lot of fun! I ended up picking up a complete G1 Iguanus, and in tangentially TF related stuff I got Battle Beasts Cutthroat Cuttlefish (to replace my childhood one) and Jaded Jag, and a Gobots Spoons.

The guy I got Iguanus from also had a Splashdown which I was very close to buying, and he also had a full set of Monster Pretenders which was a little out of my budget.

Retro-Toy Con

 

I was going to go, but Disney got A LOT of my money in late October, so didn't happen, and I probably would have gone pretty broke on all the retro stuff I am weak for.

 

Yeah I was there Saturday- We probably passed each other a few times. Picked up some small stuff, but my biggest joy was to buy a vintage Gaiking (Shogun Warriors) like the one I had when I was a kid. I also got a POP voltron signed for my Daughter. It was a good show. I considered setting up a booth and getting rid of some of my stuff, but decided to check it out as a spectator first. Maybe next year I will have a booth there.

 

Walked into Target Bluffton, gave them the DPCI for Siege deluxes, they said no. Gave them the DPCI for Siege micromasters, they said yes. I picked up a couple, and they took the box to the back. Chances are they probably have battlemasters as well even though I didn't check. I'm probably going to return the micromasters because they're $10 each - which is a bit much for what they are.

 

I went Sunday. Took the gf and kids with me.
Had lots of fun. My gf bought more than I did lol.
It was hosted by Toy Federation. If you ever stop by the shop he has a great selection of G1 to new, as well as a few 3P figures.

The kids got a gobot and a Lego pterodactyl.

 

Picked an Optimal Optimus at the Anderson Target tonight. There was one left.

 

I was at the Simpsonville Target and Walmart yesterday. Both got pretty much cleaned out by Black Friday sales. There's some Cyberverse and SS stuff, mixed with some Prime Masters at Target. Walmart only really had Cyberverse.

 

Anybody find a cogman at Ollies? I went to Ollies greenwood and they only had the Bee/strafe/crosshairs/drift wave....

 

Can't speak for Target but Simpsonville Walmart was restocked with POTP this morning. Had Sludge, Snarl, Moonracer, Blackwing, Rippersnapper, Grimlock, and Inferno that I saw. Also had the G1 reissues and Cyberverse stuff.

 

Forgot to mention, I talked to a Target employee on Black Friday about Siege. Said that "even if we do have it, we can't sell it yet"
Time to wait and start trying to make the most of what's left of POTP.
