I've never seen a Seaspray or Cosmos in the UK - I expect only the importers and a few places got them - though thinking back didn't TJ HUghes have The Perceptor wave of Titans Returns deluxes I never saw them near me.

The good thing about the Krok/Quake/Triggerhappy/Twinferno wave was that it showed up initially in B&M (never saw it in the south) then Home Bargains & TOFS got it as well. So perhaps if Home Bargains get something first then maybe B&M & Toffs might get it.

I hope we get to see the other set too.

The UK market is becoming more and more fractured with only certain stores getting certain waves. The Perceptor Deluxe wave was widely available in ASDA, Seaspray & Cosmos in the Entertainer - some stores may still have them. If you don't have branches of those near you then :-(

Here in Swindon, we don't have a Smyths - the closest is Bristol - so I've never seen a POTP deluxe here.

    (Have when out on travels)

Every ASDA within 40 Miles of me only sells Rescue Bots (if you are lucky) and Blind Bag PVC sometimes. Maybe One-steps when they feel like it.
Though oddly they just got in the old RID 6 Pack of Onestep for an outlandish £60.00 (yeah that will be on sale soon enough).

They are foolish as things like Power Of the Primes Prime Masters or Titans Returns Legends would have sold well (as the Combiner wars Legends did).

I'm so out of touch with what I am missing as until the Co-Op (of all places) gor the Prime Masters in I'd never even seen a Power of the Primes toy of any size - unfortunately the nearest smyths is 40 miles away too. At least I used to have the excuse to drive 80 miles there and back when there was a TRU but now that is gone - it's not something I want to spend the petrol on.

Shame really I'd have liked some POTP deluxes (especially if they were under £15.00) I feel like a bit of a drip when all those POTP Leaders were online for £30 and £35.00 I didn't buy one and now those have vanished as well. I have more of a reason to buy a POTP Optimus now that I realise that The Siege on can hold the POTP matrix in his chest. Perhaps the over-stock hasbro said in their stock report that they want to ditch will include some Transformers and so more might show up at retail in clearance outlets or for seasonal stock in places like Matalan or Peacocks that only get toys at Christmas.

I think even VERY has given up on selling Transformers ; and I stopped even looking as ASDA's online offerings as they were sort of pathetic.
It's been a real blow to loose so many outlets - no more TRU, No More Woolworths, some TOFS shops are shutting, & Tesco Direct is kaput too.

Perhaps I need to pester Smyths and The Entertainer to pick up the slack a bit more.

Wha-Whaaaaaa?!? Chaos on Velocitron for £30? Hell, Nautica alone sells for more than that on eBay. Damn, just when I thought all the bargain Transformers are only available Stateside. I would love for my local Home Bargain to get this in stock so I can add Nautica, Quickswitch and Laser Optimus Prime to my collection. That would slake my Transformers lust for the rest of the month easy.

I did pick up Seaspray last year from Toys R Us and I saw Cosmos (but passed due to having imported the release with the Micromsster) so they were definitely available here

Regarding the set, can further confirm they’re out there and an absolute steal of a deal

    Son of a gun.
If only shipping from the UK to 'Straya wasn't so bloody expensive I'd be asking if someone could sell me their Laser Prime n' send it my way.

There really doesn't seem to be that many of them. Most branches don't have any and those that did had at most 3 copies from the comments I've seen.

So a barely released batch? The dream of getting a set at a reasonable price ebbs...

Been 3 days, too early to tell yet. My suspicion is there's a load more to come, down south especially.

I picked up 2 of the 4 on sale in Immingham. Are issues with Optimus - the stickers are peeling off

Hi, spoke to Home Bargains on the phone. Still no luck getting hold of this pack myself, but they did say it's written in their inventory as "pack 1" which would imply that there may be "pack 2" and further.

At this point I want the whole set, but given the silence on here I'm assuming that our Brit counterparts are aware of what they can flip these things on ebay for.

It's probably more down to the difficulty acquiring them!

So this release was more of a hiccup than a boom?

    Ebay:
If you read the last few weeks of United Kingdom Transformers Sightings it seems that most stores have had a case or two of these and that's been that. Geographically they took till the last week or so to get down to the south of the country. When they have shown up they've flown off the shelves, several regular posters haven't found them yet. I've not seen one myself: Real Life has taken precedence in the last few weeks.

So yeah, it's not a case of walk into a store, you'll be sure they'll be there.

As well as collectors this set represents good value for those Christmas present hunting and as eBay will testify a fair few have fallen into the hands of those trying to make a quick penny or two.

Well chaps, I phoned Home Bargains Retford and gave them the barcode, all too happy to order it in! Took three days.

It is still available, you just gotta find a helpful member of staff.

A friend of mine picked this set up for me and is posting it to me.

    Can't wait.
