Why doesn't Kup just scan a new form, like Ops did in AoE?

 

I imagine even during Season 3, he could upgrade/repair himself so he physically could look/feel young again. Why he doesn't is anyone's guess.

 

Maybe there’s a point where you can no longer upgrade kind a like an older computer

 

Should not old metal rust and fall apart?  

 

Things age, metal rusts, there is probably lots of dents and scars on him after the war. So as he grows older I just think he's more rusty etc.

 

That would not explain how he goes from "porn-stash" to fu manchu.

 

Sure it does. Smaller mustach just means less wires hanging out, longer mustach means more wires hanging out... not that complicated.

 

OK so how does he continue to function properly with so much of his innards hanging out of his face?

 

Why does it have to be “innards” or anything of importance’s?

Even we have growths of all sorts that grow on our outher bodies that don’t prevent any kind of vital functions or functions of any sort

That would imply and infection of some kind (warts), or a defect, damaged parts growing and not breaking off.

As long as the wires are still intact there's no reason why hanging outside the body would cause any problems.

It's like electronics don't stop functioning just because you can see their wires. As long as their still connected then there's no problem. It's only if the wire itself is disconecced or damaged that there could be problems.

Even then some wires don't actually serve any purpose as PrimeUltra was trying to explain though not very well. At least not a primary purpose to keep the robot functioning. They might serve some secondary purpose meaning that he can continue to function without them but maybe not at full capacity. It could even be this partially functioning capacity that causes them to display mannerisms associated with old age like how Kup complains about a torn rotator cuff, whatever that is, he can still function despite the damage but he's slowed down because of it.

 

Maybe hes old and crotchety and stubborn and doesn't want to.

 

Perhaps the "aging" is just lots of patch jobs taking their toll.
Not really aging at all, in physical appearance sense.

 

They're not just robots/machines/vehicle, but also living organism. Their metal is made out of celluar structure. Also we are machines too, but are carbon base instead of engeron base.

 

Why do they have sexes if they do not reproduce on their own?

It’s not meant to make sense, it’s meant to appeal to us as the things who are suppose to be relating to the stories and characters. Make it too alien and you also create a much harder to understand and less relatable product.
