Absolutely. They're shelfwarmers at my local Kroger and walmarts!

Its mostly Slag and Grimlock. I think I’ve seen a few random Swoops but Snarl and Sludge are rare finds at B&M these days

I take it the terrocons are the choice over dinobots?

Depends on who you ask. I have two sets of Dinobots and only a couple Terrorcons...I'm sure some others are the opposite.

I’m a dinosaur fan and I always wanted G1 stuff. But I missed out. I just want to make sure they are worth it

In terms of just straight availability the Terrorcons are much easier to get than the Dinobots currently. Might need to hunt a bit for Hun-Gurr but that’s the only one of the 5 not readibly available

Aesthetics, looks, fun of the toy is what I’m looking for. I like to fiddle with stuff at work

Gotcha. In that case, I have to say that I love the Dinobots. They really do look like G1 Dinobots with modern toy engineering and construction. And the fact that they combine into Volcanicus is , in my opinion, like a dream come true. All that being said, though, after owning them for a while now, I wouldn't recommend spending crazy money for them. They are cool, but they are still relatively basic mass retail figures with a level of quality in line with the suggested retail price. Of course, it's your money, and if you want them, go ahead and get them price be damned!

Yeah if they are too far in between to find in retail, it’s just not worth it.

    Ooooooo

Now if I can find a reasonable slash price wise this may happen. I live on the west side of Cincinnati here so I may hit up Ferguson tomorrow and I know I can get Grimlock down in Kentucky. It’s the others I’m worried about. I waited too long

Slash is a bit harder to come by these days, but she can still be found in-store. I think you're going to need to go the Amazon route for Sludge and Snarl, though. I live in Northern Kentucky, so we're just across the river from one another! I'll let you know if I see any.

    Wait. Slash is HTF? Really??

I remember people complaining she'd be a shelfwarmer.

Wow... Here in the NE she was on every peg you could find. Every TRU had her weighing them down.

I used to see her frequently early in the year, but she is much less common now. Not impossible, mind you...just less common. She can still be found. Now, Outback and Cindersaur I've only seen a few times.

I see those two all the time honestly. The one that was most difficult to get for me was Tailgate. Finally found him in Illinois this past June and snagged him with Landmine (Alpha Trion)
