I'm salty that I spent so much on the Defenders Rail Authority set only for it to end up on their eBay store with free shipping.
Did you at least get it sealed? Or were you one of the ones who paid full price only for the set to be retaped?
They'd really need to retool that figure or do an all new sculpt based on it. That particular Loki is HILARIOUSLY SMALL. I owned one back when it came out as a Wally World exclusive originally in 2012 and it's not something I'd want to buy at today's prices without major fixes. Probably best for them to just do an all new version of it.
While the colors are present on the old outfit the new looks better on screen and it's been in a couple good movies. I'll be getting the classic Loki coming next year. I sold Terrax wave Thor, hopefully I won't be waiting for a classic Thor for long.
I don't mean classic as in his comic book look, I mean the costume he wore in Avengers (and more than half of his appearances in the MCU overall). Just like Black Widow and Iron Man and to a lesser extent Thor and Cap, the new engineering is being applied to looks that only work in a few specific displays. Even if bearded Cap didn't look like he was tweaking you wouldn't put him on a general "Avengers' shelf. You'd put him in an Infinity War display. Loki is the same.
I find disturbing we still need: Classic Hulk Classic Thor (a good one) Classic Iron Man (again, a good one)
Snagged a Gamerverse Spidey at Gamestop, case fresh. How hard is it to find him? Thinking of a trade for the Sp//dr BAF. Is that reasonable?
Some pretty good ML deals from Megalopolis for Black Friday (10 years stuff especially): https://megalopolis.toys/collections/black-friday-sale-preview
Ok, that's the clear difference. I'm only thinking in terms of one MCU shelf. Yeah I had a Marvel comic shelf with modern and MS stand-ins. I don't have replacements yet but I've had my fill of looking at compromise.
Green hair don't care... I just found out about this guy and I'm on the look out for this beast at a po'boy's price. Yeah 14.5 inches, but with my number one pick I'm going for the best available Hulk in the draft regardless of needs by position on my team. All the 6 inch scale ML Hulks just don't look right to me for various reasons and they are all at secondary market prices.
