The release date is just a dew days away (the 20th) but I found this available for purchase tonight at a Meijer in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I know it’s not for everyone but for $5.24 I couldn’t resist. I’ll include a look at the pics from the book. See,s to all be stuff we’ve seen before.

 

Is this the entire bumblebee movie in book form?

 

I don’t think so. We just got back so I might get time to read it tonight.

 

Tie-in novels for movies are usually based on outdated versions of the script as they're required to be finished a few months before the film's premiere. It's possible that it has the near-final story of the film, but also possible that some details will differ. Either way, be wary of spoilers from now on.

Why release the Junior Novelization before the movie itself?

What the heck.

 

A lot of movie novels come out before the film.

A side benefit of novels is many have scenes that were edited out of the film.

 

Nice to see a tie-in book return, one of my favorite TF things to collect. I misread Memo as Nemo, oops wrong movie.

Yup. And sometimes scenes that weren't even filmed too. Usually novels are done from one of the drafts before the shooting script. So they often contain scenes that weren't even filmed, and give insight into early drafts of concepts before changes. ID4's novel was like this too in how it had a completely different plane scene at the end with the crop duster instead of it being all jets(which thank god for that change in the movie too).

 

I just wanna know what the deal is with Blitzwing.

 

Transformer. Deception specifically. Doesn't like bumblebee much. Can turn into a plane.

 

Just finished. Won’t post any spoilers but it isn’t a novelization of the whole movie and there were some laugh out loud moments. Pretty enjoyable and some great nods to the fandom.

 

So is this just like the one with the dark of the moon or is this completely different
