    I double sleeve everything, yeah I reccomemd toploaders. Metroplex kinda frustrates me because....how do I protect...carry that card?

    @Dinobot Snarl some guys at my lgs said they found something that should fit metroplex. I’ll find out what it is and where they got it.

    What do they need an art director for? Isn't all the art just stolen from the old mobile game and the comics?

    Why is that weird? No need to invest in the extra art if the game flops. What they did makes good business sense.

    Seems interesting to collect, but knowing Slipstream and Cliffjumper are already very pricey exclusives takes out a lot of my enthusiasm.

    The cards in that pack are strong, but nothing defining for the game. It’s been roundly decided that it was not the best idea, but it also seems that the game has taken off much stronger than initially expected.

    Good point. I'd probably be interested in them more for the characters and art than the playing, but I might consider picking up a starter pack when Christmas shopping soon to try it out.

    The game plays quite well. I’m glad it has good art, but if that’s all you’re buying it for then you’re leaving out like 3/4ths of the value.

    Don't know if this is news but, If you have been buying these at target best pick them up soon, my target just phased out the booster packs.

    Update: went back with a wrapper and they confirmed no longer stocking them.

    Can't even say it's a step forward without any sort of prizes from their end. Not that I want more unique promos especially since this game's probably still too niche for those promos to spread out enough. At least they're not leaving us hanging but kind of hoping for a set 2 announcement soon. Doesn't have to have any concrete info or even a name. Just knowing it's coming would be nice.

    "And the best part: players will have new cards after the event to add to their collections."

    That'd only be true for people new to the game so not a real incentive.

    I'm trying to build up some friends at work to do a League like group with me. I'll admit I've whaled into the game at over 140 packs opened, so anything I put together for a "constructed" format would probably destroy them. But if we start from a limited pool, and only add packs at the same time, then my whaling won't have had consequence.
