Titans Return Seeker with Rainmaker (Shapeways)
    Update November 11, 2018

My Generations Blitzwing was showing his age. The soft material in his head was crumbling and his
colour was looking off after years of exposure. What am I to do but to salvage the situation by removing
his entire head assembly and making him a headmaster?

It was an easy decision to repaint him as Skywarp aka Generic Decepticon Seeker. The figure already has
a precedent being released as a triple changing Starscream, and the nice thing about Blitzwing is that half of
him is purple, and I simply need to paint all that tan black. I didn't even need
to worry about paint rub issues! Lovely, lovely.

I designed and 3D printed a neck adaptor that fits into his cockpit chest, and I also modelled a pair of
null-rays based on those that came with Cloud Starscream. These can be mounted behind his shoulders in
bot mode, and on various spots in jet and tank modes.

Additionally, to give his Headmaster partner Rainmaker somewhere to sit in alt mode, I designed a
'Titan Null-ray' accessory. The appearance of this model was inspired by the original G1, massive null-rays.
The 3D printed parts all feature various pegs and ports to allow them to be reconfigured in many ways.

Lastly, I modelled a faceplate of the familiar Seeker template we all now and love. Gave it the standard colours
with fluorescent red eyes. Now he can be Rainmaker, Starscream, Skywarp or Thundercracker, etc!
(Now after putting them side by side, I think I prefer my version over Takara's Ghost Starscream Titan
    Master, actually.)

Looking very sharp. :)  It's also a cool way to make a CHUG version of movie Blitzwing with TR Megatron's body too.

Awesome work! Partly because you mostly had to just paint the black areas as you mentioned, the figure looks factory! (I looked up T30 Blitzwing, and it looks like you painted some purple areas to silver, like on the chest). The Titanmaster emplacement in the gun is very creative - I didn't like that gimmick much, but you made a great use of it. Lastly, I agree that your face design for Skywarp is better than the Takara faceplate for Starscream. Terrific work! I always look forward to your posts.

Cool. Skywarp wears that mold well. And, yeah, that Titan Master beats the Takara version.

The painting was done some time ago so I guess I forgot what else I did :)
    Thanks for your comments!

Glad you guys like the faceplate sculpt!

    Thank so much Pete!

    Thanks for the replies, guys!
As a Seeker fan myself it's my pleasure to do something like that. Expect a Thundercracker soon, hopefully...
