    Also, news post mentions fans hoping this was PG instead of PG-13. Y'all speak for yourself, I was not wanting this to end up PG, I think PG-13 is just perfect for this franchise.

    While I can see the appeal for a PG rating, PG-13 for 'sci-fi violence' sounds a lot more fitting for the franchise.

    Man, I'm surprised how many people actually care about these ratings. I always just assumed most people ignored them.

    Probably because the language and sexual innuendo are absent from the movie which already makes it a huge step up and when they said new direction they literally meant new direction
