So it seems more and more people are having chest paint issues... that's disheartening in that the replacement chests could be just the same.

Can folks post pics of their chest paint damage please?

I was implying that you heat the scabbard while covering the rest of swwwwword with your hands. Heat will penetrate from the outside in, thus expanding the scabbard before the blade heats up and expands. If you want to melt it giver, your toy haha.

Finally got his chest protected with the ceramic coating. Should be good to go now. After coating and what I used.

 

Any special application? Or is it just paint on with a brush?

 

Let us know how it holds up. If it's solid, I'm gunna do the same thing.

 

Not really. It is kind of like a car wax. Only MUCH stronger. You just wipe it on, let it sit for about 30 seconds then buff it off. This stuff is kind of pricey, the only reason I have it is because it was left over after coating my wife's SUV.

 

So after my first transformation going into robot mode I was attempting to pop the shoulder back out and this happened:



Be careful to put force only on the shoulder. That pop in and out takes way too much force.

I bought from an Chinese eBay and am in California. Any advice on contacting FT? Is it worth the effort? First TF I ever broke and my third FT product.

I mean, has everyone who has him who has scratches reached out to FT? You'd think that if there are enough complaints and they realize that there is a problem that maybe, just maybe, they might do something about it? Or maybe one person can get a head count and reach out and say hey...this many people are having problems, it's not just one, there IS an issue, what can be done about this?

It'd be cool if they came up with their own solution.

Got mine today. Flawless so far and no problems with the swords coming free of the sheath / holster things. It's spring here so maybe it's the weather?
