I stopped at another Target and they are restocking the endcap also Game Stop was taking preorders on the metroplex set so I bit on that. Also I have been looking on the site and did not see any tcg pages. I would love to have a meet up in central Indiana sometime to play.
One of the vendors at the Midwest Toy Fest in Indianapolis had Siege Wave 1 in stock yesterday. I picked up Hound, Sideswipe, & Cog. All of them are great figures. At the same fest, another vendor had a Takara Nightbird. I've been looking for that figure for a long time. Glad I was finally able to pick her up!
I was wondering if Midwest Toy Fest 2018 would have Transformers or not as descriptions seemed to indicate that it would concentrate on other brands. Anything else interesting to be seen there?
@SHIELD Agent 47: This was my first time attending the show. I expected it to be a lot of mixed merchandise, almost like a flea market. And that's pretty much what it was. Vendors had Star Wars (mostly modern lines), Aliens / Predator, Horror Movie Figs, Marvel, DC, Transformers, Comics, and some imported girls toys that my 8 year old son made sure we avoided. There were some outrageous prices for some things and really great deals to be had as well. Worth making the trip. Especially since I scored Siege Wave 1 and Nightbird there.
Hello all! Making a small intro as I now live in Indiana. Elkhart was pretty barren for new stuff today at least in the Walmart and target I visited.
Does anyone know if any Ollie's around Indy still have a Fort Max or Trypticon? One of my kids is asking for a big base-type TF for Xmas and that seems like the best place to score one at a non-internet price.
The Toy Fest in Indy over this past weekend had Trypticon for about $60. I know all the Ollie's locations around Indy are sold out. Thanks for the input guys. I totally didn't know about the Toy Fest until it was already over. I probably would have gone if I'd known about it, and my kids would have liked it too Anyway, I told my wife about the $70 Trypticon at BBTS and she said go for it. It'll be a present from my mother-in-law, who is splurging on gifts a little this Christmas after receiving an inheritance. It may not be a Fort Max or Metroplex like he specifically asked for, but all my kid really wants is a TF base. I can just see his face light up when he rips it open on Christmas morning. Thanks again for making him happy
Went into the new Ollie’s in Mooresville (just opened yesterday). They had 7-8 trypticons, boatloads of overlord, triple changers (blitzwing, octone, and optimus). Had the quake/krok wave of deluxes (no misfire), but also had the legends cosmos, which was “new” to Ollie’s base on what I’ve seen. If anything else, there are some more Tryps, for those still looking. Was kind of sad, as they not only bought out the toys r us stock, but they bought the shopping carts too!
That is sad - the shopping carts. Was going thru an old tote of transformers stuff and there was a TRU bag in it. Me: I wonder if this is worth anything now.... How much was Trypticon?
