My friends and I just purchased some siege figures at a toy show, and I discovered that Only on some packages there is embossing on the character art on the “wedge”portion of the box. You can only see the embossing at the right angles, but it is defiantly there, and there is Cybertronian writing on each box that is only written in the embossed box treatment. Optimus has an embossed Autobot above his left shoulder, and similarly Megatron has a Decepticon symbol. At the moment with our small sample size of four of each figure only one set of Optimus and Megatron have the embossing. The other three copies of each have no embossing whatsoever. See pics:
Somebody a few days ago said that theres a secret hidden on the box only a blacklight can find, could this be releated to it? EDIT: Optimus Prime’s box says “IACON” DOUBLE EDIT: Megatron’s box says “KAON”
I haven’t seen it, so I thought it was news worthy. Only 1 out of four primes we observed had the embossing.
I would say so, you can see it in the sunlight by angling the box just right. But only some of the boxes have this treatment. Not all.
Everybody has be obsessing with what the Blacklight meassages say. And yet they only say Cybertron locations or just one word.
Yea the deluxe's have the writing as well, Cog's box says "Fortess Maximus" on the side I don't know about the others.
Yeah, I saw that too. I thought the deluxes only had it. And? Like, it's just a fun thing they decided to add. And in some cases, maybe it hints at things to come in the trilogy.
The point of this thread is that there are Voyager boxes out there that have no treatment on the boxes. Whether it is a mistake or not, this should be noted.
