Finally was able to score the “gem” (or at least one of) of the Studio Series line. First thing out of the box is that this guy is heavy. Heavier than the other leader in the line. Transforming him was kinda fiddly, especially with the rear section (idk why I’m more annoyed with large fiddly figures than smaller ones, i.e VW Bee). V Mode is fricking MASSIVE. I don’t like the Scorponok though. I think he’s too small, that’s why I’m sticking with my 07 deluxe. Overall, I like Blackout. I think this is the first figure to actually depict his handheld rotor blade more accurately instead of the massive detaching thing from his 07 voyager (I love that weapon he uses in the movie). The 07 cast is almost complete. Just need Screamer, Barricade and Bonecrusher, then I can move on to ROTF, and so on lol.

As for the OS KO, anyone have comparison pics with this guy? Tempted to get one as Grindor.

I haven't seen a comparison shot, but the OSKO is 12 inches tall from I've read. Should work really nicely as Grindor.

    Yes.
I now collect figures in one scale... 1:39.
So I have Bee, Jazz, Hound, Ironhide, Wheeljack and TLK Prime, Stinger, Lockdown and Galvatron.

definitely getting the rear section pegged together , you have to ratchet the legs juuuust right to make sure there aren't that many visible gaps.

You're near the Glorietta area right? Have any stores besides Rustans got the new Bee/SS wave 3 product?

Wow now THAT is good parenting! Haha that’s definitely on my #lifegoals list
I would love it if they could start doing more realistic and cool vehicle mode gimmicks. Challenger’s truck mode has opening doors and a moving trailer hitch and even that little bit of playability greatly enhances the toy for me.
Same. I got big into combiner wars when it first started mostly cause it was the first time combiners were really done right but also cause there wasn’t any new movie stuff coming out. Ended up selling it all off since the line quickly devolved into repaints and retools.

Hey guys I’m in Thailand for a week! Any good places to get transformers in Bangkok?

That's too bad. There were some good figures in the Transformers Prime lines and in the Transformers Cybertron line.

I'll never get tired of this mold, to me it's the best one proportion wise, as well as the only one I recall for having articulated "emotional" doorwings, the face was a little iffy, but I love how it manages to distribute the kibble and leave him backpackless. A great piece of engineering for its time :)

I agree! I have the battle mask version so the face is a tad better to look at but that was my first movie figure and I still think it’s amazing to this day

Why is everyone acting like the 07 line is complete, even though megatron and what bumblebee looked like for most of the film haven’t been made yet?

Exactly same mold as studio series. Minor improved, adding tongue and the longer tail (straight only, no angle). The leg have some die-cast.

Well for me personally it’s cause I’ve owned a million Bees so I’m not super excited for any new Bee unless he’s very different than something we’ve gotten before (like VW Bee), and I kinda hate the 07 Megatron look so I’m cool without him.

Agreed. I don’t mind Bumblebee the way he is, but an 07 Camaro mode would be great. But we desperately need a new 07 Megatron, can’t say that enough.

Also, anyone know when we’ll find out who MPM-8 is? It’s listed for April, which is coming up soon...
