I can confirm the Bury branch of Home Bargains on the Moorgate Retail Park has the set in stock. Well, at least ONE set left - looked like there was room for 4/5 sets but only 2 left when I got there and bought one (obviously). None in the Crostons Retail Park Home Bargains in Bury though.

Can confirm that Home Bargains on Junction Nine Retail Park in Warrington (opposite the collegiate, with the KFC/Starbucks etc.) had 3 of the Chaos on Velocitron set this afternoon, I say had because I took 1 home with me, couldn't resist the bargain deal and fact that I now have Nautica! The rest is an added unwanted bonus that I've not yet figured out what I will do with haha

Haha, yeah for some reason on my last 2visits to Smyths the shelves were quite full and both occasions looking through the studio series I have managed to knock a load off the pegs and domino effect them to the floor. Both occasions I get that unimpressed look from the mrs like I’m a big kid too overly excited and I’m embarrassing myself so she walks off and leaves me.

Any hooow thanks for the reply bud, il have to sneak that one in on my hunt for the velocitron set

I recommend having a fiddle with Quickswitch, he's Fanmode-tastic. As well as a bit of expansion for Fort Max's city mode, if you have him?

I have Sixshot so know the mold quite well, know next to nothing about Quickswitch as a character but do enjoy the mold, might have a play around with him to make up some fan modes or something, I don't have Fort Max, I have Trypticon but I have zero space for that big dino b*stard as is

Edit: And after opening the set...I feel like Quickswitch has so much damn personality, might try and switch his shoulders round to further differentiate him to Sixshot, but wow his colours work so well. Nautica is awesome also, but I could easily leave the Optimus Prime and Fastclash I have no interest in either. For £30 this set is a steal.

No Velocitron at Great Yarmouth Home Bargains. I hate that feeling when you go out full of hope to find a specific item in a store but it's not there and you have to leave empty-handed.

Could be worse: yesterday one of my friends elsewhere walked into a store to see the two sets the store had walking out the door with someone!

Smiths Newtownabbey has the PotP Optimus Prime, Inferno, Sinnertwin, Blot and Rippersnapper in stock and on the shelves. Their website still says none of them are in stock anywhere yet.

I recall this problem before when North of England Home bargains stores had a unique later wave of Iron Man 2 figures (the good ones not the rubbish Iron Man 3 figures) that was a wave that pretty much you could only get on the US Hasbro toyshop (with stuff like the Hulk Buster in) and they never shipped them outside the North of England Distribution, some Matalan were supposed to have them too (back when Matalan didn't sell cheap unbranded crap toys alone) so I have this feeling that The South is going to get screwed over on these and they are all going to the North of England stores - due to that being where TJ Hughes is located and so Home Bargain grew out from there.

It's the same problem with B&M - being out on a limb distribution wise means we missed out all those cheap Movie toys & £5.00 Titans Returns toys too.

I think they had the £5.00 The Last Knight Deluxes but it looks like the local collectable / 2nd hand toys store went in and snagged them all and put them on the shelf for £20.00. Didn't get much in the way of 3.75" Marvel Legends either.

I think some of that is timing and some of that is that they never had it in the 1st place. I'm going to have a look in a little while - I don't expect to find anything though as without an indication that Thurrock or Southend or similar got them - they are not going to make it further this way in the south east either.

Why could they keep some back and put them on the website - even if they'd charged £50 for them to pay for the free shipping they'd have been gone real quick anyway. At least then everyone who wants one would have had the chance to get them.

That they are in European packaging is the most curious part though.

I can sadly agree with this after talking to the manager of the Southend HB last night (which others had done because he knew about it)

But HB have a main warehouse in the North and one in the South, and often stock goes into just the North one as it is nearer the main ports HB use. If they can only get limited stock of something then it usually is intended for just the stores supplied by the Northern warehouse.

He said it wasn't impossible that they would get some, but as all the sightings are more up North he reckons they are very unlikely to have any supplied to them from the South warehouse. So not much luck for us in Essex or down this end of the country, it seems. Happy to be proven wrong, of course! Hoping I will be!

It's rough down south. Look at me me weee caos on velocitron. Lol

I had a quick look in a hb, don't know what for. There was someone else pacing around the shop scanning the place i could just tell a tf collector(maybe imagined but i doubt it). I just thought f this i am not looking for them.

I am looking for primemasters in coops, that is a bust... :(

Same situation in Harlow home bargains, which to be fair is quite possibly the biggest store I've ever seen....not a single one of these sets and staff know nothing about it. We haven't even had the TR deluxe wave yet either.

Think of it as compensation for us living in the armpit of the UK.

Got a Velocitron set from the large Home Baragains in Stockton-on-Tees on Tuesday, they had two. I took one, apprently more have been spotted since then.

Well I did some asking around and they are on order in southern stores - even said they ordered 2 cases (6 toys) and they expected them on Friday "Maybe". But that depends on if they want to push them that far I guess.

Now if only some stores would find a source some other interesting morsals like early POTP releases or later Titans Returns.
It is such a pain in the tail pipe to see "Battlemasters" tailored for the Titans Returns toys I could never find like Sluslinger.

Well, I'm late to the party on this one.... You know when something important has dropped when you come to the Sightings thread after a few days and there's six pages of info to catch up on!

So, any one living predominantly in Manchester CC/Salford (Me!) who want's a Chaos on Velocitron set (Me again!) is going to be F'ed off. So without further ado, here's my HB sightings nearby as of today Thursday 8th Nov... (Maybe I'm just too early to the party here and they've not got the sock out yet...):

Thanks to Lockdown91, as you can see from the attached image, I decided to pop onto the M62 and go to warrington and got the last one! If there were two yesterday then the other one was bought so non at Jt9 retail BUT if you are Warrington/Widnes was then hop onto the M62 again an aim for Birchwood. Seeing as I’d already done 6 store in one morning wtf does a seventh make! As of 2pm today there were THREE untouched CoV sets sat on the top shelf (oh, suit you sir!) I say three as that’s all I could feel as even I don’t have that long an arms..

If I never see a HB store again it'll be too soon
