Positive reception on Bot Bots must be so good it's already getting looked into as a mainstay brand with a wide expansive future. A move like this signals they're already looking into year 2 and farther of the product line now.

 

Their factories are in China and Vietnam. The move is only their corporate headquarters. Neither have a thing to do with job loss. Sales of one product line utterly collapsed costing them 12% of their annual sales.

Just remember that we didn't even see them until the first batch were already manufactured by the factory and beginning to ship. Department Buyers from the big box retailers and others have seen these, judged them and offered their initial orders months ago.

 

PLEASE let me manage botbots holy shit

 

Whoever gets that job better be smart enough to realize the media potential for these little characters. So much potential.

I wonder if the lack of a manager is why Botshots is not being promoted or even listed in many places - so loosing some of the momentum.

Perhaps they will start remembering they already made them soon ?

I wonder what show Botbots will get probably them in the mall, hope it is as good or better than Cyberverse.

 

The artwork they've shown us screams cartoon show.

The animated art they showed already reminds me of the animation style of Gumball, which Boulder also animated. A show might already be in development.

If they're competing with the Grossery Gang and Shopkins, those already have dozens of episodes already. I think Shopkins already has 80+ episodes.




I could definitely see a comic of this as well. Something akin to the Carl Barks Duck comics would be perfect, with one larger strip adventure, with several shorts focusing on individuals and specific Tribes.

Why not poach someone from Moose Toys that have worked with the Shopkins line?  These are just transforming Shopkins.  In fact, if Hasbro was really smart, they would partner with Moose Toys and market these across the board through both companies.  I\'m sure such a partnership will greatly benefit from this type of move.
