Most of the major players (Big Bad Toy Store, TFSource, Chosen Prime, Toy Dojo, etc) will usually send a replacement if you have one that just can't be fixed with a part they can send in the mail. Usually they want pictures of the issue and then will send a label for you to return it and get you another if they still have it in stock. Always good to look these over when you first get them because it varies but the time you're allowed to do that is limited from vendor to vendor.

I've had to send a handful back in my collecting experience so it's not super common but it does occur. Usually I can let little stuff slide because they're going to stand on a shelf and that's it, but if it's mechanically messed up or it's say, the chest paint I'm going to see all the time, then I'll say something.

Just got this guy in and for the most part he is a step above Crackup. I didnt have any qc issues and everything is tight.
However, why the fuck did they make the alt mode front wheels wider than the rear? Such a stupid decision cause that makes his shoulder wheels stand out too much.
Also unlike Crackup's hip ratchet where if you turn it around it becomes a friction joint, this one is ratcheted both ways even though the "A" stance is more natural than Crackup's so you don't need to mess with it.

 

Received mine today from Baba, peeled the protective sticker and his chest is A Ok!

 

Still waiting for my copy but what accessories does it come with? A gun and a replacement face for Crackup only? Does it come with its own replacement face?

 

Just the stock face for Flipout; that's it.
I think the designer said something about wanting to improve Crackup's face, so that's why we're getting a new one. Interestingly, the red color on the new Crackup face is different—a bit darker than the original. Neither better nor worse in my opinion, but it's interesting.

 

Got mine today. The ab crunch joint isn’t as tight as I would like, but everything else is so damn luscious that it doesn’t bother me. XTB has really come a long way. Can’t wait to see where they go from here.

 

So when’s the G2 version of this guy coming out?

Mine seemed to drag the chest piece in car mode...meaning the clearance allowed by the wheels doesnt seem to be enough? Also...what the heck is w the instructions? There are like 4 pages of literally the same ateps...over and over...lol.

 

The picture part that boomerdave mentions in is reply is something you should always do prior to contacting any seller, even if on ebay. What they do with those picture(s) is send it to the OEM so they can get a replacement for the copy they took it from OR to get your replacement part directly from them. Each retailer, mostly US ones, handles it differently and I assume that's based on whether they have extra stock to spare for parts or not but either way they do it, outside of time it takes to get your replacement part(s), affects you.

China sellers typically ask the OEM for the parts and don't use their stock, which seems consistent with the two sellers I had to ask for replacement parts. Plus, the OEM is usually in China so it only makes sense to ask for it directly and then send it to you.

 

Yours appears to have some paint smudge on the ab crunch joint. I'd look at getting that swapped out!
