If I remember correctly, the helicopter just splits from the tank underneath. More like a Duacon is what I could think of to compare that too.

 

The tank treads fold under, the tail fin pulls out and the rotor expands to a three blade. More of a MASK type conversion than a transformation.

This guy completely slipped by me. After watching Ben's review (Damn you youtube feed) I pre-ordered BOTH version this for ALL the reason this is. I'm a Diaclone Dianut so both of these will be mine.
TFC continues to knock it out of the park but this time taking it up a notch.
Ton of die cast and ratchets and so many modes, and play; does TFC know what I like or what.

Hell yes. If the QC is strong with this one, he will totally be my jam. They impressed they hell out of me with their Posidon, and this feels like refining on what they've learned. I've run into a lot of add-on and dedicated OP enbiggening sets but this one feels like you're making him bigger, not like he's just wearing it.

TFC滚雷昨天到了，玩了两天，感觉蛮不错的，随便说说。先从轻甲讲起吧。
1. 轻甲可动很好，尤其下盘，双关节，深蹲无压力。全身几乎都是齿轮，声音清脆，掰起来很舒服。
2. 上盘可动依然不错，但是高耸的肩部会对斜后的可动造成影响，有点通二哥的意思。
3. 腰部的弯腰关节超棒，POSE扭起来很有张力，很劲。
4. 全身的金属件不少，但是部分的，比如武器型金属件，真的。。很粗糙。没有上漆，直接金属成型色，表面很粗糙。但是，像小腿正面的金属件则好的多。（蜜汁操作）
5. 变形非常简单，但是效果不错。载具帅到炸裂。
6. 大腿对照设定稿显得过细，但是考虑到要变形的缘故，语言小腿收纳在大腿里，还是可以理解。单纯轻甲状态下，大腿还不觉得细，但是一旦上了马甲，感觉就比较明显了。
7.全可动手，关节紧实，武器内部有卡槽，握持稳定
8. 对照了DW的设定稿，算是非常还原了，尤其细节部分
9. 重甲说下的话，除了刚刚说的小腿过细的问题，其余都比较满意。
10. 但是背部的背包卡槽就两个，并不稳定，其实把玩得时候容易掉。两个侧身的大导弹挂载在侧面并不稳定，而且是斜着插入的，目测会比较容易出白痕。
11. 背部的大导弹基座没有收纳位。平时得挂载其实很尴尬，一大坨在背上。
12. 整个玩具和戴亚克隆的小人互动很有趣，尤其是载具模式。
13. 头雕的话，透光性较差，而且眼睛会比较萌。

overall, most of are good reviews, like good articulation, good ratchets, easy to transform, very cool vehicle mode. so I won't bother to translate them.
A few issues he mentioned are:
6. Thighs are too thin, especially when put on armor.
10. The backpack is not stable, easy to disconnect.
11. the big missile base on the back is large and awkward.

 

I'm seeing it as low as $112 USD before shipping and Alipay fee on Taobao.

 

So base on your experience, how much the total might be to US?

 

Showz seems to be knocking the price out of the park on these compared to the other US Shippers.

 

I'd have to know what the actual (not volumetric) shipping weight is.

 

Very tempted to pull the trigger on this guy. He looks great.
