Yep, if I didn't already have one in my POL at BBTS, I'd be all over it

I gave 95$ for the black version and I AM NOT regretting it at all. Only 'problem' is that he comes short a few CM of the official mold (I have the KO Ratchet). But who really cares.

I picked up Stealth Animus a few weeks ago from another TFW member, and I love the look and bulk of him! My only gripe is his backpack which just sits there. Can't find any way to lock it securely in place, so when I pick him up to move, I have to readjust the stuff hidden in the back.

Υep....Thats a huge....oversight?Stupidity? I really cant understand why they didnt put a tab in there. It just sits there.A flaw to an otherwise spotless figure.

I still like my Voodoo van bots more than the officials I had and sold. Proportions are better, heads are better, etc. But hey, that's opinion, lol.

Excellent figure. Better than Takara. I would buy from TJ anytime...

This is an opinion that I share.

Sales are funny like that. ;)

I got Voodoo Animus full price and felt TOTALLY satisfied. If you don't have it, and you pass up on it for $66... you're fucking up.

WOOT! I didn't even know this was OUT at mass retail. Finally got my Ironhide!

... Oh, and a Thundercracker too for free shipping, so that's all three MP seekers. Don't judge me, I never liked them much! :p

I keep forgetting to check on this. Is this the version of the figure that had fixes from the original release? And if so, besides the leg ratchets in the hips (which I think they redid) what else did they change?

I don't recall any changes except removing the wide hip ratchets and changing to friction joint hips.

A few folks in this thread said that the face sculpt was also changed. Looks like it from a quick capture.

Oh yeah. I didn't know that was a "fix" though. Thought it was just their way of having each have a different face.

It’s a fun sculpt. Backpack does just hang there without tabbing in but mine doesn’t flip around and it stays in place. I’m satisfied. 0FE58AAD-AD13-4E41-907C-AE772BBC7876.jpeg

Yeah--saw that. ALMOST wanted to bite on Animus/Ironhide. My main gripe with the line is that the plastic on Ratchet felt...cheap...when I got mess around with a friend of mine's copy. If they haven't changed the material, I don't think I'd be happy with it if I bought it.

It’s true. The plastic feels like it’ll break with just the right effort.

Speaking personally, I prefer VooDoo’s sculpt so much that I’m willing to overlook the figure’s finicky engineering and feeling of easy break-ability.

But to each his own, amirite?
