I’m still confident on my theory that we’ll get two of each mode and you can combine each version and get a perfect robot mode.

 

I would go with the Optimus Poster. If that were Soundwave there instead of Megatron, that would be a different story.

I hope this Optimus gets redone into his DotM design, and for us to get a leader class Sentinel Prime. DotM was the only movie out of the Bay ones I actually enjoyed thoroughly.

Dotm’s my favourite too. It was on TV yesterday and those special effects blew my mind! To think this movie’s already 7 years old make me feel like a grandpa already.

Another thing about DOTM I love that most people don’t care about is Sam’s coming of age subplot. That scene where his parents give him love advice was so lovely for a series known for its explosions and toilet humor.

“I will follow you until the end of time” - cliched, but heartwarming.

Anybody have any idea what wave Siege Ironhide is in? I think TFWiki left him out of the wave list. And hot damn, that's a beautiful chunk of an Ironhide if I've ever seen one!

I really like the new Optimus but I already bought the last one. TT isn't getting my money twice.

Strangely enough I will however wait for a KO upscaled version of it. That I'll get. I almost bought the Wei Jiang KO of the first one but the fact that they didn't fix the backpack stopped me.

 

Do you think now that there's a jetfire black Apple will make a modified KO of the two instead of a straight upscale?

Having rewatched rotf only recently I noticed that Jetfire prime is pretty much the same size as Megatron and the fallen. So I'd imagine the new combined prime won't be much bigger then studio series megs and the fallen. The original release is just too big

 

DotM is my all time favorite movie. That's what I envisioned in an epic transformers movie, a Decepticon invasion ransacking an entire city. The toys were awesome. A lot of robot screen time and dialogue and transformations, a huge twist...
AoE was my second favorite, and then TLK happened...  

 

I haven't seen anyone suggest this, but looking at the picture of SS Jetfire I have a theory.



Could he be a 'weaponizer' for the new SS Ops (like Cog and Sixgun from the Siege line, for example)? I don't see all the alt mode parts on him in this pic. If he is designed to be a weaponizer in order to achieve Prime's power up mode, we'll that would actually be consistent with the RotF movie. Now we'd just need a SS Jolt!
