The feet LOOK like they use the same parts, just with the ratchet on the opposite side. When you fully tilt the ankle, you can see the connector has holes on both sides, with the outer one empty and the inner one attached to the foot. Constructor used identical parts for the thighs, forearms, and several other areas instead of mirroring them. I don't know how you feel about taking the foot apart, but it could be worth a try instead of having to wait.

I'm having issues as well. I am trying Energizer 371 which are 1.55Vcc each. Package says they replace SR920SW/W and TR920SW.

When I hit the button all I get is "I" or "I am" then it starts making a "b.b.b.b.b.b" sound and the eyes blink along with that. Then, if I wait a few minutes, he'll say more of one of his quotes before stopping mid sentence.

    Ugh.

Ok, can anyone help me with what batteries to order? Inside the head it says

    AG6/LR920
    Shows 3 button cell batteries
    3 x 1.5 v

So, I received what I thought was correct and when I install them all I hear is a clicking sound when I install the batteries. Did I receive dead batteries or is the head broken?

Can someone post a pic of their batteries that work?

Finally got around to messing with this guy. He definitely looks impressive. With all the articulation he has you can pose him just fine, but seems less stable than Constructor. The added function of moving the thighs forward/back helps with stability, but it’s also the joint that has the wobble/play, so it might be hurting more than it helps. Just need a couple Menasor sets now.

Just got mine today and finished combining him about an hour ago. I don't know about others but mine is NOT stable. I was able to get him in some good poses but a slight breeze will knock him over and it took forever to get him posed. Having the entirety of Onslaught in the upper chest was a terrible idea.

I know I'll get flak for this but I am so disappointed. His joints are wobbly, his knee keeps popping out of Swindle and he constantly wants to tip back. I've messed with him so much and it is a pain to balance him. Am I the only one having this issue or are people just in love with the size and look that they are okay with the wobbliness?

That could not be possible, it's well known that the pants make combiners more stable...

Sorry to hear that, the answer to your question is that people only care about the size. Armageddon is unstable unfortunately...

I find he's more stable if you break him out of the standard straight-on A stance. In that pose it's too easy for the crotch slider to shake loose. Works better in a slight lean with the waist turned.

mine is wobbling while you're mine is wobbly while you're in the act of posing him, but solid once you've done it. I definitely have to firmly hold on while I manipulate it

Yeah, I feel like I am working with a stick of dynamite while posing him. Any second he's going to topple over. Makes it hard to manipulate him. But I'm even having trouble getting him in a pose where he feels solid.

I didn't buy Constructor but heard so much about how stable he was I figured this guy would be rock solid but mine definitely isn't. Going to keep messing with him to see if I'm missing anything.

When I first combined him I had the combiner feet on the wrong side and brawls turret wasn’t plugged in properly so brawl twisted at his waist. Once I fixed that bruticus was much more stable.

The pants give more articulation so that you have more adjustments to stabilize and more range for posing. It also gives proper portions for the combiner so it doesn’t have gorilla arms and tiny thighs like transformission Menasor. Pants also should keep the torso bot in scale, so it’s not over sized like maketoys onslaught. Why zeta went for an oversized torso bot, I don’t know, but that’s what makes it more top heavy not the pants. The pants are saving this combiner from being impossible to standup.

My feet are on the correct side but part of the problem is that when I try to move the knee connected to Swindle, Swindle's whole top portion untabs and the knee loses stability. He just can't seem to stay tabbed and secure.

They are not saving anything, pants only make the "combiner" bigger. And guess what, Armageddon articulation is almost the same as Ragnaros, but Ragnaros is way more stable... So stop with the fallacies please... I have Armageddon and I know what he can and can't do and "wearing pants" aren't making him immune to the laws of physics.

Constructor is stable because it was well designed, not necessarily because he is a pantsformer.

Try to locate his center of gravity in line with his legs by using the ab crunch and the hips joints. Armageddon's arms are quite heavy, make sure to balance them as well.

Yeah that’s a bad connection, and annoying. Seems like they tried new things on this one that didn’t work out. The swindle knee connection, the connection at feet and the hips sliding forward/back have too much play and rock. I hope zeta and the other companies are learning from this one.

It seems I need the arms to be forward or bent at 90 degrees at the elbows to counter the weight on the back. Then it’s easier to do different poses. If the arms are down, then posing is very hard.

Ragnaros isn’t the same height and way smaller in bulk. So it would be easier to stable him, just like it would be easier to stabilize mp10 compared to Ragnaros. Yet Ragnaros has gorilla arms and tiny thighs that look out of portion. The pants don’t make him immune to the law of physics but they do help in shifting the weight around thus helps in stabilization.

I agree Constructor is better designed because he doesn’t have the play in the feet/thighs and his connections hold. But those problems are not caused by the pants.
