The song is catchy, but I'm expecting something like this:

Since it's already available in some countries, MP3s are starting to pop up on some websites. Obviously I won't link to them, but they're not too hard to find.

I thought the song was okay. On its own it's a fine song, probably even one of my more well-liked Hailee Steinfeld songs (which honestly isn't saying a lot, since I've always found her music kind of average). As a song that's part of the movie, I have mixed feelings:

On one hand, it doesn't sound horribly inappropriate. Think of it this way...The Neverending Story has a distinctively '80s sounding song during the credits, yet it doesn't sound terribly dated today. It's somewhat timeless. This kind of feels the same way. It's recognizable as a 2010s pop song, but it's not necessarily out of place here.

On the other hand...would it have really been that hard to create a song that sounds like something that could have existed in the '80s? Just pair Hailee with Stan Bush, who practically still writes '80s songs today. Is Stan Bush too on-the-nose? Well, pair her with anyone else who wrote songs during the '80s. Pair her with Rick Astley, or Joan Jett. In a way it feels a bit...lazy. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a ton of work went into creating this song, but the vision behind it feels lazy. They could have had a lot more fun with this.

 

I’ve said it before! Foo Fighters covering Dare! With Taylor on vocals!! That would be amazing!!


Oh hey and Machine Head covering Instruments of Destruction!!

This song slaps, what are y'all talking about? Y'all bitter that Devin Townsend isn't on the soundtrack?

 

You mean someone else on this board likes it when they try something new for Transformers? Someone pinch me!

 

In my opinion this song fits Bumblebee/Charlie its not 80's tho  

 

She might still but I like due to the fact this is her first song she ever made on her own

 

Its not bad as this is her first song she has ever made on her own so it kind of shows but its not bad like Soundcloud Rapper bad

 

Also I belive this will be during a montage scene and/or credits

It was Torches by X Ambassadors lol.At least it had more substance than Battle Cry at least in my opinion
