Do it. You won't regret it. They make the figures so much better.

    Was never a fan of the Generations Metroplex face sculpt, so I took a Alt-modes Magnus figure and custom built a more toon-accurate Metroplex head. Check it out! 1.JPG 2.jpg 3.jpg DSC03266 (Large).JPG DSC03269 (Large).JPG DSC03271 (Large).JPG DSC03272 (Large).JPG DSC03275 (Large).JPG DSC03282 (Large).JPG

    Your custom looks absolutely fantastic.

The horrible face sculpt is the single reason why I refused to get Generations Metroplex.

Thank you! Yes, that old face sculpt bugged me from day 1. To make this piece, I actually had to take a dremel to the old face and cut it into pieces. While cutting the entire time I was thinking "die, you ugly piece of garbage!!" Hahaha!

I unfortunately missed out on Metroplex when he was available (Money issues). What I wouldn't give to have him in my collection right now (Along with Fort Max and Trypticon)

Thank you my friends. I really appreciate the encouragements.

I'm really more interested in sharing ideas than selling them. (Teach a man to fish, you know?)

I post Transformers related ideas, mods and crafts on my page (in my sig). Feel free to check it out sometime.

Hey, if you don't like something about a figure fix it and make it better. For me I do like the face he came with, but that's just me.

Just had the LG-EX edition delivered. Posing this guy with Trypticon is a blast!

I've finally got mine some week ago, the Takara version, but I'm having a couple of issues that are preventing me from fully enjoy the figure:

-the visor gimmick, and the rotating helmet for the transformation in general.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but every time I transform it the helmet has the habit to come off of its guides, and I have quite an hard time putting it back in place

-the left arm, since it doesn't connect with any tab to the torso, has a gap of about 2 mm between the shoulder and the chest. I am the only one with this issue, or is it a common issue? There is a way to fix it?

Is there a detailed write-up of the differences between the Hasbro Metroplex and the new Takara reissue?

Dusting off the old thread because Metroplex needs Sixgun to go with Scamper.

I presume this is all compatible with the big fella? If so, it looks like a must have!

I’d assume so since most of the siege weaponizers all look to be 5mm port comparable.

I don’t know if the red legs of six gun will really translate well into guns for metroplex to hold...since six gun here is a deluxe, and metroplex is...well, as big as he is.

Either way I’m in. Great addition to metroplex.

I pray that I can find one without too much "BATLDURT!" on him.

It looks limited to his toes and the nose of his vehicle mode.
