Checked out 2 Walgreens around Custer today - no luck. Although at the second one a clerk was nice enough to tell me they HAD them - but others got to them before me. Drat. The hunt continues!

The Transformers were in a center isle, and the Trypticons were on a right-side end-cap about 2 or 3 isles further back from where the rest of the transformers were.

Anybody run by Ollie's lately? I want to run by there today but if the Trypticons are already gone I might not.

I mean, I went opening day (last Wednesday) at around 2pm, and that end cap I took the picture of was full of Trypticons with boxes of varying conditions, So unless anyone else can confirm they are all gone I'd say there is a good chance they still have at least a few.

Definitely no Trypticons left. Tons of Overlord and Octane. That’s about it.

Well...I could be cynical and make a comment about scalpers...but instead, I’m gonna say that this is just increased sales to encourage Ollie’s to open more locations in DFW

Did you check the other aisles? They weren’t on the same aisle as Overlord and Octane.

Actually there were a few guys there that were definitely resellers because each of them was bragging about how much they were going to sell the items in their cart for. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Yeah, I checked everywhere. That store is too much for me though, I got stuck a few times between people with carts and I couldn't move. I don't have social anxiety but that place was giving me some panics. lol

Not to be too far off track I went to an Ollie's in Louisiana (DeRidder). Impressive, but the availability is largely what the photos of other stores have had (same TR deluxes, voyagers, Overload, and 2 Trypticons, one with a bad box gash). Point that matters here is a clerk at checkout tells me more Ollie's are coming to Texas in particular to the Southeast Texas area (home base for me). So, I hope they verify these pending locations with more details soon as they're listing the forthcoming Marshall and Nacogdoches locations on their map already.

I know what you are saying, it is definitely a "unique shopping experience," I was there on Sunday, but made the mistake of only going to the "Overlord" aisle. I realized my mistake last night when I asked for clarification as to where the Trypticons were. I was going to go back today, but you saved me the trip, so thanks for that. When I first walked into that place on Sunday it felt like I was walking into the opening act of a Tarantino film. :)

It's definitely not for the faint of heart. Honestly, I bet the Trypticon's were super noticeable so if you didn't see them Sunday then they were probably already gone. That being said, any TF homies want to hook a brotha up with one? I have cash or a Revoltech Jetwing OP for trade :)
