yes IDW made an interesting young Soundwave without his mask... also without his helmet. <--- (I'd be cool with this as a gimmick)



...but they also depicted Megatron as having weird hair without his helmet...... so yeah....whatever

the best prime that fits this gimmick is power master prime but considering they wasted that opportunity I guess a star convoy with the galaxy force prime gimmick and some traits will be perfect

mp optimus prime had a mouth under his face plate, and that is definitely g1 prime

no matter how you cut it, it is still a mouth and it is still under his faceplate, so yep

 

Id love for him to lose it in a new show and it be Megatron or something underneath.

I just realized something that's probably been discussed already but... this is a reboot line and there is no Bumblebee? I realize it's probably due to the overlap with the movie, but it still feels refreshing.
