I was expecting a painted proto by now.

 

Seems that's still a long way off, since what they're showing here is resin, and not even a test shot.

 

I wasn't for this, but I'm really surprised that we still only have a resin of Buster Skywing.

 

It feel like Buster's stuck in a loop.

 

This looks like the exact same prototype as last time.

 

We’re going backwards. There was a color proto of Bustet at the UK show

 

Maybe it's because Striker and Rioter had relatively quick turnarounds from reveal to release, but maaaaan is the wait for this and Buster is killing me.

 

A lot of these prototypes look like the same ones because they are. They get given to convention organizers and make the rounds at any shows they have a hand in. Maketoys has probably made more progress on this, and Buster, but it seems like they haven't because the resin protos are still in the show circuit.

 

I'm still of the belief that this figure has a third mode we haven't seen yet.

The alt mode does have that spire that resembles the stupid handle of the stupid G1 gun mode.

 

i'd be ok with a gun mode bcuz that would give me an excuse to buy this, he could be held by MT Devil stinger like that pic of him holding Rioter

 

Man this thing is still looking great. Wish the cannon was way smaller, but I’m excited to get him

 

Bummed that it wasn’t in color, but still pretty cool to see this in person.

 

That definitely looks like a trigger.

 

For his submarine mode, of course.
