I son't know how others feel about the aforementioned spaffage, but personally it does nothing for me. The moulds themselves are pretty awesome, but especially in the cases of OP and Megs, it looks as if they have been indulging in some sort of Cybertronian 'mass adult recreational experience'. If one of them had Mcvites digestive as an alt mode it might make more sense....

@Rotorstorm m'learned friend. In your professional opinion do you believe it may be possible to remove the more splatter gun examples of excess paint apps.

Daylight test passed with flying colours!
    DSC_0042.JPG DSC_0043.JPG
His reduced eyepaint actually seems to catch the daylight a bit better now for some reason, maybe because it doesn't spill across two differently angled surfaces? Whatever he seems rather less dead-eyed in daylight now!

Time to treasure this wee bugger until Siege Omega crushes him underfoot!

Christ, it's miserable outside today! And that's sort of ok because I got up early to paint the kitchen. I'm such growed up.
I'm so glad I randomly decided to start collecting Gobots. It's been slow on the ol' TF front. I'm glad that, by the looks of it, we're not going to get a stunted September wave in WFC like wot we dun got in Titans Return and PotP.
Onnieways, check this pair out. Kissing thier alt mode essential accesorie, but check how lovely that chrome is on Cy-Kill.

Welp, bang goes my intended morning schedule!
Yup, Uncle Billy's come through for me again!
    Something for the lady...
    DSC_0044.JPG
...(really glad to find out the clear pink versions do indeed come with the 5mm peg scabbard clip) and, oh yeah...
    DSC_0047.JPG
    ...ORIGINAL G1-STYLE STOWAGE, BITCHES!

VERY chuffed to discover that my theory was correct, it just didn't get documented in the promo pics because the snapper mixed up which clone got which guns!

I actually messed it up on Fastclash/lane myself at first as I tried it in both sets of his arm slots. It was super tight in the upper arm ones and didn't do much for his already rather gawky vehicle lines, the forearm slots weren't quite so tight but still not quite right, still a tad jutting-out-a-lot, before I actually caved and Googled the G1 twins to be reminded that the OG1 Fastlane's guns went on his leg sides...
    DSC_0050.JPG
    ...it's all in the hips!

Cloudraker's underslung guns also hit the G1 spot but do bork his landing position.
    DSC_0049.JPG
A price I am entirely willing to pay!

    DSC_0048.JPG
A curious quirk of the set is that exactly opposite to Nonnef's clone guns, Fastclash/lane's guns are bigger than Cloudraker's.
Overall both sets are excellently styled updates to the Clonebots missing guns but, for me, with the addition of "proper" vehicle mode stowage Dr.Wu's DW P-40 Clone Trooper weapon kit is...

    .

The whole knuckle dragging subculture in football fandom is what put me off going to live matches as being sat with a bunch of alleged grownups hurling abuse at officials, players and opposing fans and encouraging their kids to join in was not my idea of a fun experience.

I feel a lot safer as an armchair fan because the only threat of violence I have to worry about is if the ferrets are in whilst a game is on :D

On a related note, the guy that Eric kung fu kicked made the papers years later for beating up the coach of his son's football team after he dropped his son from the side. Which to me proved Eric was doing a public service even if he didn't know it at the time :D

Looking at all of this chrome goodness makes me want to have a go at blinging up some of my figures. What're you all using for this?

So I’ve just finished Lost Light Vol 3 (issue 18). I’d planned on waiting for Vol 4 at the end of January, but now I think I’ll just grab individual issues off comiXology instead.

They’ll probably add a bunch of bonus content to the trade and make me regret my impatience, but I can’t wait to see how this all plays out!

One day i might get one of those pens and try chroming. Since the silver chrome paint is just silver paint.
