No way to slide it in by turning the head? that's a real crying shame. I know I'm not willing to sand the horns down on this thing just to make it fit. Glad I kept the stock neck parts right about now

I tested it quickly this morning before I headed out to work. When I get home later I’ll take another look at it in case I overlooked some angle that might work.

So quick question.....can the head and everything stay during transformation or do you have to remove it?

I assume you have to put it off to the side, since even with the stock head installation there probably isn't enough room inside the chest cavity

There's enough room for the head to go in the chest cavity.

The heads can store in the chest cavity. The idw comic head however may be trickier to remove.

It's really nice to see all these in-hand pics. The end product looks every bit as good as I hoped and I am very happy people are getting their orders that they have waited patiently for all this time. I am curious where my order stands now having paid for it in July 2017. At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

No, he was talking of additional freebies to those already shown. You're conflating two separate things.

Maybe I am. But what I’m saying is I didn’t ask for, or want extra freebies. It’s nice that he felt bad enough to throw some spare stuff he had in with the shipments. But unfortunately they’ll probably just get thrown in my junk spare weapons tub. A discount/refund/credit would’ve suited me better. And a store credit -even if a small one- could generate more business for him. He may have lost some business due to the long wait and sparse updates. I know I’ll think twice about buying from him. At least he realized that open preorders are not a good idea for a one man operation. Especially for something as in-demand as a decent head for a decent toy with a crappy mask gimmick.

Great to hear that these kits are shipping. I've really been looking forward to getting it. Can't wait. :)

Getting back to work on orders tonight. The next batch of orders goes out around Thursday. It'll be all the remaining orders that don't have Galvatron kits. After that, I'm going to focus on completing all the IDW Galvatron kits, then ship out all the orders together, that contain only those kits. Last will be the G1 Galvatron kits. They're currently the most difficult to make, because I keep getting air bubbles trapped in the horns. I'll snap some photos later and show you all, so you can see how much time and effort is spent making unshippable parts compared to good parts. I'm currently thinking of redesigning the main tooling mold for the G1 helmet. Shouldn't cause any major delay, if I go through with it. The upside will be much cleaner parts, as I've had to add extra vents in the mold to kick bubbles out.

If it means getting better parts and makes your process a lot smoother, I'm fine waiting a little bit longer. Thanks for the update.

Take all the time you need, dude. Since I'm in the G1 batch, if you need to make them right, and it'll make a better product in the end, I'm always for extending the delivery date. That goes for all quality products, MP's, 3rd Party, take the time to do it right, hell both official and 3rd pty had products that needed more engineering time.
