I knew it, Leader Class DOTM Megatron!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's another one off the list.

 

Two of my favorite designs, looking absolutely awful in physical form. Well, Megs is anyway. I can't really tell what's going on with Jetfire but he at least looks far better than the old Leader.

 

I said this back in 2011, I will say it again. Why Does Megatron even need an Igor?

 

I have been passing on the Studio Series but DotM Megatron is really making me reconsider that stance.

 

Absolutely beautiful. It's not 2007 Megatron like I wanted, but it's still really incredible as a version of Megatron, and far outclasses the Voyager from 2011 than I think an 07 could with its older figures.

 

Just wish there was more detail on the cloak on Megatron.

Well , I'm definitely going to hold off on judging these too hard until we see some better photos of these guys- as at the moment its pretty hard to see what's going on.

Megatron; I'm glad he's in his DOTM form as I anticpated, and it's cool to see he comes with Igor, it makes me hope that if we get a Soundwave, that it'll come with Ravage and Laserbeak. (And also begs the question...Barricade? Do you have frenzy hiding with you somewhere?). He definitely looks blocky here, and even if there is some mistransformation going on, I would bet he is still going to be pretty blocky when it's all said and done.

I don't know, something just looks....weird about him, like his colors or the cloth or something feels very "KO" to me. Definitely interested to see more photos.

This also makes me rethink how I'm going to display my SS stuff. Originally I just wanted one version of each character, but now I have ROTF Megs and want this guy too. I don't like to have a ton of displays up, so maybe I'll just rotate my display- TF1 one week, ROTF the next, etc... of course that also means I'll need to pick up DOTM ratchet. Hastak you monsters.

Jetfire: Honestly anything other than the pos leader we had in ROTF is going to be an improvement. He looks better from what I can see, and if he does combine with Prime, it doesn't seem like it compromises robot mode too badly (from what I can see, obviously we need more photos here to make any sound statements.). Interesting that they chose not to show his vehicle mode off, I wonder if it's as kibble-ridden as ROTF?

 

This photo isn’t doing either of those figures any favors. I’ll be reserving judgement till we get a proper look at them. Jetfire of the two is looking much more promising currently, and that’s fine with me. A non-combining Jetfire has been top of my list since ROTF.

Would rather have had Shockwave than Jetfire, but they look pretty nice...what you can make out of them from the photos.

 

I wonder if I can compare this between DOTM Leader Class Sentinel Prime.

 

Dark of the Moon Megatron is going to finally be done justice!!? Be still my beating heart. You’d think they would’ve posed these toys a little better, though.

 

For some record, the Star Wars toys are posed terribly too.

 

I don’t know why but I found Igor really cute for some reason. He’s like a pug; so ugly that he’s just so adorable.

Wow cut Igor some slack he’s trying his best lmao.

Because Igor is truly the most important character in the Transformers franchise clearly. (/s)

I don't keep track of the listings, so these reveals really caught me off-guard. I never realized that they're making SS leader class Hobo-Tron and Flyin' Old Man Jenkins! Wow!

 

The truck mode has too many spikes i don't remember him having that many spikes too be fair i only remember about the voyager and Cyberverse figures

 

Just wait till Bonecrusher and Dino surface.
