While I have been hyped for a brand new DOTM Megs, the 07 Megs is in desperate need of a new figure. The entire 07 cast would be complete (that is if the new Barricade comes with Frenzy) and I think all of the figures put together would just look great. Either way, whether this new one is 07 or DOTM, I\'m hoping for the best

Almost no one knows Shatter is slang for one particular drug, and I think it's no more remarkable than any other given drug name, while Slag's derogatory meaning is fairly common knowledge now even outside places like the U.K.

Hasbro also just used Bombshell two years ago in Combiner Wars, there doesn't seem to be anything stopping them from using it anymore.

 

This is also Takara so scale may not be as big of a concern they may wanna do things like throw in ROTF Deluxe Rampage foe now a days that is a Voyager scale. Just like they did in their 2014 Movie Advanced line. That said, there is a good chance that since Hasbro wants to do some of their TLK figures that didnt get good distribution that Takara will throw in the Leader Class TLK figures in place of all the extra Bumblebees and future Takara exclusives that will be numbered in the US.

 

Yes he and demolisher ( the one in Shanghai ) were huge and your right should be a huge voyager or leader respectively.

 

1st off keep in mind i dont care about things like that personally. And thats why the original post stated as in the future this could happen bc its new still. But in 45 states its a felony now bc its being considered a dangerous drug bc ppl are blowing themselves up trying to make it. Similar to Meth (not the effect/high, the stigma). And i was just saying it because its sucks getting names yanked especially if the characters are well liked. Thats all bro  

 

If this repaint of Prime has a better color scheme than the ROTF version, I will buy it. It would be nice to have one with brighter colors and a chrome grill.

 

I had a dream end of 2010 I went into TRU & bought new mold G1 figure combiner characters. And i specifically remembered in the dream the boxes were square/window package, & at the time we had funny shaped boxes. NOT SQUARE ONES  . Dragstrip blue tipped, & Air Raid with stark white head (Hasbro didnt have Stark white plastic back in 2010), plus Silverbolt and Optimus Prime that pretty much WAS the Combiner Wars wave 1. Thing thats weird was when Combiner Wars 1st came out it was in TRU only on holiday, so driving up on a dentist trip we stopped on yhe way back & i had this crazy da-je-vu when i picked up the figures. It was the dream it came back to me later the car ride home IIRC. (i also dreamed @ 10 years old my horse would trample/kill my black lab when we went on vacation, mom didnt think it wld happen, & when we came back thats ecactly what happened.)

Im guessing voyager will be Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime, & Leaders = TLK. Unless Hasbro releases Leader Megs too, then if new mold DOTM.

A Movie Best version eh? Like the Optimus Prime riding Grimlock or Bee riding Strafe?

No movie 1 Megatron is my most wanted movie figure & i honestly will be mad if ita not the masterpiece! Id go for a leader too, but the more and more i think about this im guessing these might be TLK Leaders to fill in the extra Bumblebees and Takara exclusives that Hasbro numbered. At 1st i thought it was a new mold but there is no evidence YET that supports that except the obvious MPM.

With the Studio Series, they could do anything as there are so many possibilities. The only non original SS mold so far was Thundercracker, so they could visit old molds. I really hope they do versions of character never done before (in mainline toylines) like BB Movie Barricade and Shatter. They could also do the cybertronian characters from the BB movie. I hope they visit toys that we did not get enough of like Deluxe Leadfoot, DOTM Soundwave, Que. Maybe Cogman can be the Maclaren this time. The best thing about the Studio series is that they do not have any constraints other than the price point. I really doubt they will do combiners since they are gimmicks and is is extremely difficult to do and be accurate at the same time. They could not do a triple changer with Dropkick for this reason. Anyways, it is all good news, even if they are repaints. it means more to collect and the fact that the Studio series will continue for a longer period of time beyond the Bumblebee Movie. Sadly they have no announced any more Leader Class toys though Grindor is the obvious one and Shockwave is high on my wishlist. Movie 1 Megatron definitely needs a new mold and would be perfect to rival 2007 Movie Voyager Optimus. DOTM Megatron was already a good one with the DOTM line, although they revisit that too.

 

will just get Barry, Bee and Swipe.. main guys 1st.

 

Yeah I suppose it wouldn't be any better.

 

A MPM Sideswipe will also be cool though I am looking forward to a MPM Jazz first, cheers

IIRC the first Bee and Starscream mold were not original- bee was modified from an older mold and ss was an upsized and retooled old mold
