Loving Big Powered. Got him on preorder at BBTS. Can't wait. It's just a shame we have to wait on Takara for stuff like this most of the time since Hasbro seems to forget about the later half of G1 a lot. Especially the Japanese exclusive stuff.

Siege looks okay. Definitely getting Shockwave, Flywheels, Blowpipe and the Air Strike Patrol... not so sure about Megatron. If the "battle scaring" is easy to remove than maybe.

 

While the bridge/tower part of his "ship" mode is sculpted to look similar to his robot head, I believe they're actually two separate pieces that fold out of his legs and connect together in transformation.

You are complaining about the inside of his legs that won't be on display that only adds to 2 modes. Pithetic display.

The main takeaway from these images – as well as giving us a new look at the toys – is a look at Siege Shockwave in vehicle mode without the additional parts. In this mode Shockwave is most definitely a submarine and is definitely never getting held upside-down in homage to his Generation 1 alternate mode. Nope. Not at all.

So Shockwave looks to be about voyager sized with the addition of a bunch of junk to plop it to the Leader Class pricepoint? Not that it matters too much since I would prefer it to be in-line with voyager figures. Still think that megatron looks like hot garbage.

 

If people want to see a benefit as a negative, that is on them and not me. That ain't my problem to deal with.

 

In my opinion, Prime Wars leader size toys were, by and large, underwhelming and did not feel or look to be worth $50. I can't say the new Shockwave will be any different, but I like the range of size in classes being presented now. All leader class toys being the same height didn't appeal to me, and I felt like corners were often cut to achieve the required height.

Extra accessories, bulk or weight, gimmicks or features - these are more valuable to me than a standard sized figure, and so in the end I am ok if Shockwave or Ultra Magnus are shorter than 9.5 inches, provided it's made up in some other way. This seems to me to be a change for the better, and I hope that some of the folks who are disappointed will find a change of heart when the figures are in hand.

 

Very disappointed with the size of this Shockwave. I should probably continue with my Cyber Battalion.  

 

It would be nice to see seacon combiner in this line with an exclusive micromaster team but with Shockwave makes this the crown of this line and also I can't wait for a Omega Supreme and also I hope they recolor him into blue to make him look like the guardian bots in G1 episode War Dawn.

 

I do like the new Megatron a lot. And yeah, say what you will about Shockwave's "added value" armor, it isn't so bad. I'm imaging Dreamwave Shockwave doing a weird experiment on himself to have more guns and sexy boots tbh

 

I\'m really loving what I see from War for Cybertron Siege.

 

IMO it's not worth 20 extra dollars either.

 

I guess people can stick with their FOC or PRID Shockies if they want to repurpose, but then I remember the pages and pages of bitching about POTP Rodimus, and

FYI, Siege Shockwave unlike Rodimus is still a day one perchance for me. I just wont be paying almost double what this figure should be IMO. Now go be a good little Hasbro shill and pay $100 for one since being ripped off doesn't bother you.

To everyone else if you like the armor and think it's worth it then have fun with it. Sorry if having fun with mine at a more reasonable price is offensive!

 

Shockwave on his own as a Voyager size looks decent. Adding the \"Armor mode\" to make him Leader class really screams like an after thought to me. Reminds me of what they did with Armada Megatron to \"Combine\" with Tidalwave\'s \"Dark Fleet\" Armor mode. Really wish they did something similar to what they accomplished with Siege Ultra Magnus. 

 

All I can say is I'm ready for 3.5 - 4.5 years of Cybertronian alt modes and weathering apps.
