I've never handled a real G1 Devastator before, what's the difference with the new one? The reissue I got still has lots of die cast parts. Also, the first one I bought didn't come with stickers or instructions...

Towson Target had 1 a piece SS Optimus and Ironhide. Oddly enough on one of the clearance endcaps. Ironhide rang up full price but the Optimus is still there.

I noticed they were discounted the same way at the Abingdon Target yesterday. Probably because nobody wants a rehashed mold of a two year old figure. That thing is definitaley not worth the money they are charging for it. The cassettes are kinda cool even though they are just recolors of older figures, and that set really could have done without the one step changer bumblebee that is total crap. I feel like the only decent figure in this bumblebee movie line is the power charge bumblebee, and that thing is waaaay too big for my collection. Nothing as of late has been impressing me from hasbro aside from the studio series stuff. I totally skipped the entire "combiner wars 2.0", I mean, Power of The Primes line. I will prob just get the studio series bee or MPM-07 and call it a day for new bumblebee stuff. Looking forward to seeing something fresh with the new Siege line in 2019.

It's not a discount, just a sale for the week per their ad. I managed to get mine from the TR line on scratch and dent for $35 back when. Worth it, it's a great update. But I'd still wait until he reaches the $40 price point. Same for the tapes, the Stumblebee included is not worth the asking price of $40.

Obviously it's your opinion but: you thought the last three years of product stunk but think SIEGE looks good? Yikes.

No, I thought combiner wars and titans return were both fine. I have a lot from both of those lines. Both did something different. One line was the combiners, and the other headmasters. My opinion, which others may not share and that’s fine, is that power of the primes didn’t do enough to differentiate from either of those. I get what they were going for, it just didn’t work for me. I would have rather seen something new, like what Siege is doing. I’m not saying that line is gonna be good or bad, because I really won’t know until I get a chance to see them in person. I’m just looking forward to something new. Plus, even though I personally didn’t enjoy power of the primes, I have always understood that there are many here that do, so I would still post sightings even if I had no interest in the line. Just cause I don’t like that line doesn’t mean I shouldn’t help others find what they are looking for if they are interested.

No sign of G1 at Bowie Walmart, but they did have wave 3(?) studio series deluxes. The one with VW bumblebee.
Also, a few of those G1 sofubis, along with a Prime bumblebee and shockwave one hiding in there

If you want to handle another non-G1 devastator, you could check out some Tuesday Morning stores near you. I’ve seen a few KO simplified, WST sized devy & others there for $5.99.

Also, picked up this entire line of DC Multiverse collect & connect for “rookie” [batman] from 5below this weekend...

Sure would be nice to know which lines (marvel legends, Star Wars black series, etc.) will be making their arrival at these discounted price stores and when they’d be arriving.

Oh well, this week I’ll likely try seeing how those 6” figures do/don’t fit into the lewin notptimus prime, aka MPPPP...10.

The new reissue has the exact same die cast parts as the originals. They didn't have much to begin with. The new plastic seems a little softer to me. Best word I can come up with. The color is also lighter.

Honestly. This is my take as well.

Frederick Walmart had nothing of note (the one off of 270).

Is the new BB movie ones the wave 3/4? I've only seen the new BB ones here recently, but that's been closer to Baltimore.

BB is wave 4. Wave 3 didn't seem to get wide distribution when it was intended to. I want to say about a month ago both 3 and 4 were spotted within days of each other somewhere.

Two Wreck-Gars at the Walgreens on patapsco in landsdowne(?). Not sure what city this is. Also a small army of general veers for SW black collectors.

In case anyone is curious, I stopped by the Halloween/Toy City in the former Columbia TRU. They do carry transformers, but the space isn’t overly big. I was kind of surprised at the relatively current toys. Anyway, a picture of transformers section is below.
