Hey TFW2005! Just thought I would share some more 3D renders in exchange for some feedback! Starscream and Soundwave were created this weekend, specifically, Starscream yesterday and Soundwave today. They are FAR FAR FAR from finished. If anyone has any good reference photos of either characters "decals" from the toys or anything else, please let me know. unfortunately as of now, they do not transform (kinda defeats the purpose, eh?) Soundwave's head sculpt is NOT 100% exact, and kinda looks like he has a cowboy hat on, as I had only 2 reference photos to go by...so, again, if you have a really bad ass reference photo of Soundwave's head, front, side and back, hit me up!!! Holy $#!+! That is a SICK Starscream! He looks so sinister. And that Soundwave...WOW. Awesome work! They remind me of those Palisades statues.

Starscream is looking great. He looks bulkier, but I don't find it as a problem. Soundwave's chest seems small. It could be scaled up a bit, especially since he houses the tapes. Otherwise, their turning out nicely.
starscream looks scary as heck i like it awesome stuff [but i agree. soundwaves chest could be a little bigger. although he does look nice anyway]
Screamer rocks, His face in the first panel has the totally evil red eyes with a just broke outta the insane asylum grin goin on.
I did the head sculpt on friday night while i was at work, and started on the body, and after I went home friday night and drank 2 bottles of wine....Saturday was a day for inspiration...so I just kept modelling while the future wife was at work! I get so into it, i hate stopping..
Wow looks amazing, don't see a lot of people go for the G2 more humanoid faces. I think Draven's one of the only other artists I've seen. Looks really wicked, great work!
Pretty awesome work for just a day into it. great job. other then that ,Soundwaves chest is too small and his waist is to large.
Again, your posing is awesome. One thing I noticed about the modeling though is that the way Starscream is positioned looks kind of like there's nothing keeping the top half connected to the bottom half. You may want to create an intermediate or transition piece that "reveals" itself in extreme poses.
Cool! Yea, Ill get on that bad boy and get'r done! Im still working on Starscream and Soundwave...trying to incorporate a thrust from Screamer's thrusters...can't get it 100% right...but there is so much to work on!
