So uh, to reiterate, what kind of stand is going to be able to hold up this guy? No point of grabbing him if I can't get him airborne in dragon mode.

 

Thanks for the advice. That said I think I'm not going to install the tail to avoid damaging anything . The tolerance is just far too much.

 

I have very little issue with the back heaviness. Mine seems to stand okay with the wings tilted up and fully unfolded. There are no die cast as far as I can see or feel, just hunks of solid plastic.

YOu will have to wiggle it in slowly. While pushing the balljoint, turn clockwise and anticlockwise repeatedly. Got mine in after the first try

 

Just transformed this guy, he's huge... way bigger than u think he is, and heavier.
He would need a pretty heavy stand to hold him up. the picture doesn't do it justice...

 

Droragon is processing at bbts =D and I'm waiting on my Gorira to arrive which with lots of hope is today (though unlikely), otherwise tomorrow I'm super excited to get a hold of these two

 

Would that stress out the plastics though? Going by look alone the tail's ball joint is bigger than the slot

That is why I did it slowly to prevent any breakage.
The upside is, when you manage to pop it in, popping it out became very easy and to pop it back again. I have checked both sides of the connection joints, there are no stress marks.

 

He just bleeds glee for this figure. I'm positively giddy with anticipation. This is the figure that got me to start collecting. The original figure was my favorite figure when I was younger. Googled it one day came across this figure and fell down a massive rabbit hole. Cannot wait to have it in hand.

Can someone here be so kind and do a video guide on how to plug the tail ball joint into the slot in his head? I'm still not getting it . Like do you have to insert the joint at a specific angle? Don't want to damage this beautiful figure.

I really need help with this  

 

Mine came in and I transform it once back and forth. It's pretty intricate and those sharp points do hurt my hands (especially when pushing the tail ball joint into the back of the head).

I thought mine came with two identical wings at first until I realize it didn't matter as long as the longest wing is the furthest behind (or something to that effect).

Other than that, the chest and the dragon head didn't really line up, not sure if it's because I didn't push it all the way or whatever, but otherwise the transformation is pretty awesome.

These two beautiful figures are candidates for figure of the year, I will probably give Challenger my vote due to complexity and what it achieves, but man... Megadoragon is GORGEOUS.

This thing is glorious. And to the dude worried about the ball joint on the head, you're overthinking it. Just push it in there really hard. It'll be okay.
