Ahhh..in the state music is nowadays it's more tragic than funny.

 

The biggest problem with todays music is auto tune. Rappers trying to sound like singers but get mad when you call them singers instead of rappers. When they cut the auto tune and use their normal voices sometimes they sound decent.

 

The problem is they don't even rap,it's just mumble.I honestly can't understand much of it..they are just not using words.That and repeating the same stuff over and over.Where is the heart and soul of that song?Even if you talk about party this and that it still can have some magic to it..now almost all of them are clowns and their albums do great..I can write a better song in 2 minutes than they did in like 5 albums..and it's sad.But you can't blame them I guess..it's just that most people have low standards and don't listen to rap from the 90's anymore where every rapper was unique and they were telling a story.It says a lot about what the world has become but that's another conversation.I want them to stay far away from Bumblebee.

 

Well I grew up on 90s rap. I can tell you that every decade had its high and low points. I bump the new school not because its better than my era, but because I dont want to become that 40 something person that hated on my music when I was 20. I also grew up on G1 but love Bayverse too.

I hope it's very '80s sounding. Not just "80s inspired", it needs to actually sound like something from that era. Hailee Steinfeld isn't a bad singer, but her style is very modern. I hope she can pull it off.

Idk why that stuff is so popular. I hear a bunch of kids at my high school talking about 6ix9ine and XXXtentacion or whatever. Even though 6ix9ine is a pediphile and X was homophobic and abusive (and they can't sing). There are some artists who are really great though. Childish Gambino is one of my favorites.
