Mine was waiting for me when I got home today. I hope no one who ordered is a MOSC collector Mine had no outer box, just a shipping bag. Her cardback was really bent up and the bubble crushed. I'm an opener so it made no difference to me.. although I indeed shook my head in a disapproving manner at Amazon's negligence.
According to BigBadToyStore, the reason why Novastar is hard to find right now is even though she is the solitary toy that comprises Wave 4 of the Power of the Primes toy line, she is only packed 2 per case, since she is being packed with Jazz 2x, Blackwing 2x, and Dinobot Slug 2x. I have a feeling that around late October a revision wave of PotP deluxe toys is going to be released to allow Wave 1 of the War For Cybertron: Siege toys to be pushed back to a first release around Christmas, it has happened with every Transformers toy line that starts at the end of a current year.
Got my Novastar in from Amazon and it was shipped in an envelope and badly crushed. The bubble was smashed so bad her chestplate left dents in the plastic window. Called Amazon about it and they refunded me 20% which was pretty awesome. I haven't had a chance to open it up yet so hopefully it was limited to just superficial package damage.
That's how I received Moonracer when I ordered through Amazon. I'm not a box collector either, but it was in rough shape. Moonracer was in perfect condition though.
Anyone with Novastar has tight ball joints in the elbow that if you rotate or twist them, you might break it off?

I know, right? I was looking around the elbow and I can see the ball twisting with the joint. I don't really think there IS a way to fix it without breaking it first.
