Hmmm no thanks! I want an "MPM grade" one, and the fact that Gcreation's Wrath transforms into a better accurate T. rex mode already makes it a lot better to me. I am planning to display him in alt-mode, so the KO doesn't work for me.

 

In AOE the Dinobots are ridiculously huge, Grimlock is more "realistic" in TLK, where we have cars nearby to judge better his size. I want something similar to that, even 40 cm tall in robot mode is ok to me.

Nice! I have yet to pick up any Bayformers but this guy may be my first purchase if they can get him squared away properly.

 

Just realised the Dinobots never transformed in TLK. Another point for the list of disappointments of that movie.

 

The movie is pretty much garbage, but many of the robots are quite cool, I liked Infernocus a lot.

 

Hell, I still need to get around to DotM & AoE! xD

But, as I’ve said before, GC Wrath just needs premium legends movie figs!

Maybe, that mini Prime hints at that possibility, but I don’t think it’s likely that they’d go on to make an entire line of film’formers just to scale with Wrath. Still, I’d suspect that somebody will eventually, maybe even before we see 3P minis of Beast Wars toys or the Zoidsformers inspired by Zukan’s T-Beast artbooks, like with DX9, GT, & PE for CHUG/MP.

Still, I think I’m in for this guy & Tung Mung’s Soundwave, but I’d probably be down for a Magic Square Mercedes Soundwave, for example.

 

So excited for this guy, if SS does the other Dinobots then I am totally using him with them

 

Hopefully, I haven't bought a SS one yet. This figure will be a masterpiece, and Gcreation have mentioned that they will use some ''new technology'' to improve the paint job, joints, and transformation(hope what they said was true). Though the price is a little high, I think it's all worth it. I'm looking forward to that.

 

As long as Grimlock is bigger than the other MPMs I'll be happy. I imagine all tyranosaurs weren't the same size.

I realized that before leaving the theater. The Dinobots were sorely underused in that movie.

Sooooo, is this Grimlock a cancelled project or is it still being worked on? It would really be ashame if the only good movie Grimlock fig was cancelled.
